    This video demonstrates how to prepare Restaurant style lemon rice.
    Ingredients
    1. Rice - 1 cup
    2. Water - 3 cups
    3. Turmeric powder - 1 tspn
    4. Asafoetida powder - 1 tspn
    5. Mustard seeds - 1 tspn
    6. Bengalgram dal - 3 tspn
    7. Green chilli - 2
    8. Red chilli - 2
    9. Ginger - 1/2 inch
    10. Curry leaves - small amount
    11. Coriander leaves - small amount
    12. Lemon - 1 and 1/2 medium size
    13. Salt - per taste
    Steps to Prepare
    1. Boil 1 cup rice with 3 cups water in a cooker for 3 whistles
    2. Spread it in a large container and allow it to cook for 15 mins.
    3. Put 1 tspn turmeric powder, 1 tspn Asafoetida powder, salt as per taste.
    4. Pour 3 tablespoon refined oil in a kadai. Allow it to heat. Put 1tspn mustard seeds. Allow it to split.
    5. Put 3 tspn bengalgram dal, saute it well
    6. Put 1/2 inch grated ginger, 2 red chilli, 2 green chilli
    Curry leaves and saute it well.
    7. Transfer the tempered content on the rice.
    8. Pour lemon juice and mix it well gently as shown in the video. (without smashing or splitting the rice)
    9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
    10. Yummy restaurant style lemon rice is ready.
