I have 190 but that doesn't include my preorders i haven't gotten yet. Or what I'm getting for record store day. I've only just started collecting a little over a year though.
I know I’m just trying to figure out how I want to film it. Like show the covers & pressings & do a voice over, sit & show one by one, just speed through with music, ect. I’m also just lazy LOL.
Ok, last comment I swear. You should consider upgrading your storage. With that long row of records leaning, they are putting lots of pressure in Each other. Definitely going to get ring wear on your jackets. You can get a Better Homes and Gardens Cube Storage at Walmart for a really good price. Also, you should consider inner sleeves for your actual records. You have a lot of valuable records and I would do everything I could to protect them.
I do have a cube storage in my office, I did an ikea video & its in there. They don’t typically lean I have a book end I use to make sure they’re straight but I took it out for this video. All my records have inner sleeves, I don’t have anti static A grade ones, but if I buy a record & it doesn’t have one I buy extras. I did that for a lot of my singles because they typically don’t have sleeves for some reason. I just slide them out & have the sleeve the other way to save me time while filming. But everything’s at its best when the camera isn’t on, these videos are tedious & I just have to do things to save time when I can.
Nice video! I also got discogs when I first started collecting but I stopped using it lol. Your video has definitely inspired me to finally catalog my collection since it’s pretty big now.
The highest discogs resale is not a reliable number for value. Always use the median as high values usually include undisclosed variables you'll need to do a bit more digging on.
I rely on the median for them all, the only time I mentioned the highest was when it was the most recently sold as. That’s why I was freaking out, & was shocked it recently sold for those most expensive prices.
It's not about the records you own - but the records you don't own! This one I really miss in my collection: Piero Umiliani - La Consolazione Della Pietra
Great video, I’m currently at 362 items with a mid range value just under 20. A lot of my stuff is signed though which lowers the value with collectors because they’re no longer considered mint... strange but I don’t plan to sell anyway so no bother!
with vinyl signed puts up the price, (with comics it doesn't as its a fault). the main factor for value is the condition of the record itself, far more than the cover. just my experience for years of selling records. also depends who signed it and how they signed it. biggest issue with major artist signed records is proof nowadays.
The mayority of my records buy it in the 80 and 90 and especially in the 90 you could find records at 1 or 2 dollars cause we had the cd fever at that moment...
I don't know if you're familiar with the rock band KISS but maybe you can answer this question I recently purchased Kiss Psycho Circus on vinyl it's a2014 pressing what on CD that came out in 98 but why would kiss wearily Psycho Circus in 2014 and all of a sudden the album just disappears
Hello I am new to your channel in fact this is the very first video of yours that I have seen. A categorize mine and catalog them back when I only had 100 albums I'm really glad I did it then I just keep adding to it and discogs to keep track. Very fun video and I subscribe to you my friend
How many records do YOU own? 🎶
550. After 2 1/2 years. Estimated Value 21k-39k
146 and I've been collecting since 2017
70 records since 2019, value is 3K-3.7K
2000 but I’ve never bought a single record , all given to me with only around 300 being worth more than $10. Value around 22K.

We need an entire record collection after this ☺️👍

@@OliviaRena Sit and show one by one. And don't edit anything. Give us a 5 hour video. Pretty please with cherry on top.
@@authenticapparel9616 I won’t do it without editing, my computer wouldn’t handle that much nor would my Internet to upload it lol

Great collection and some rare gems! What kind of inner sleeves do you use?
Gotta click the details, could have been autographed or misprinted that’s why it sold for for 499
The Billie Eilish? There was only one posting on discogs. Last I knew it was $350 & that was a year ago.
YO THE GIRLFRIENDS VINYL 😭 pls sell it me 😩
How many full albums? How many singles? Jw
She has ALOOOT of 7 inch singles & 12 inch picture disc singles. I've noticed from watching the collection videos.
When you wonder about the value of a record, it’s simply Supply & Demand. That’s what dictates these prices.
Yup.
