Wow Pete! I don't these have even made to the States yet, at least not my area. I think that thing next to the pipe on the bottom is a "rock curb feeler":]
Hi Bill, Yeah it seems you guys are last on the list with a few of these new models. And yeah, I think your right about the "rock curb feeler". LOL. It's gotta have a use, surely. Regards FPPete.
I think a test ride will help any buyer decide if it is for them. Jump on a T700 as well and compare. It's not for everyone the Transalp, but they do appeal to many. Regards FPPete.
Great close ups Pete, I know that currently they are selling well and they have a long way to catch up to the T7 the yam is better bike for the harder off road. Transalp is more black top light off road but still will make a excellent advantage bike. Note I wouldn’t leave the showroom without fitting a Bash Plate that sump is outrageous dangerous and stupid.
Good one pete, lots of good close ups. Honda have always been good at presentation. There plastics, lines, graphics, symbols, colours, always excellent.
Agree with you Pete! It's a bigger bike than I thought too. Some interesting Honda designs, that I'm not too sure about. I was wondering if it's up to Honda quality of past bikes. Red, white, blue with gold rims is neat! 👍😁
Hi Bob, It sure has a lot of positives, but the unicorn it ain't. They will sell a heap of them I reckon. Loads of features, will be a great Adventure bike. Regards FPPete.
G'day Pete, Honda fan boy from way back I'd be keen to see how it performs on the rough stuff, Darryl Beattie just took one for a 4000km jaunt without any issues so hopefully they're on a winner. Great video mate . Cheers
Is it really an adventure bike though?, there seems to be some strange decisions for a bike that’s destined to off-road, plus it looks too tame and too conservative for my liking. Kind of lost the spirit of the original Transalp I think
That sump, absolutely wrong. Just another road engine shoe horned into a off road bike. Shock looks like it’s from the $2 shop, just like the CRF300. Pretend chain guide (it’s not a guide) Honda quality? Honda Brazil perhaps. Just wait for that sump to cop it.
Yes they have cut costs here and there, but I still think they have done a good job fitting the engine into an Adventure Bike, Just like Yamaha has done. And yes it won't be for everyone. Only the sales figures will tell how good Honda have done. Regards FPPete.
Hi Rockbiterhd, the AT is one of the best Adventure bikes I have had the pleasure of riding. And it's little brother will surely take a few sales in it's category. Regards FPPete.
That one's actually the Balistic Black ⚫
Holy shit, I think your right. Ha Ha, thanks for the that. Kind regards FPPete.
What the hell were they thinking with that sump
Hi Chris, Yep agree with you mate. They could have at least made it look better than it is. Regards FPPete.
Good looking bike Pete but that sump wow 🤣
Hi Johnny, Yeah mate the Transalp is very nice, but the cow udder of a sump is not a good look. Regards FPPete.
Looks like a nice bike mate but I don't think I'd swap my T7 for one 😎
Ditto Josh. Ditto. 👍🍻

im on the fenc about this bike, i think they should have put a way better headlight and sorted out that engine sump tragedy

Thanks Hal, Yeah the Transalp sure will appeal to a lot of riders. B&B Offroad will love this bike. Regards FPPete.

Hi Will, mate these Transalps will be flying out the door. The Price is right for a great Adventure bike. Regards FPPete.

Hi there TGB, I see your point, only the sales figures will tell us if Honda got it right or not. It is priced competitively. Regards FPPete.
