Any local part store can order them. A good alignment shop should stock them as well. Theyll need to measure your current camber and caster to determine which one you need and to install it in the correct orientation
On this model that has the twin i-beams, they make what I call an alignment bushing (or offset bushing). You essentially take the factory ones out and the new one slides back in. The best thing to do is take it to an alignment shop and have them measure it to see what size bushing you need, then they will have to install it and index them.
@@ballsoutperformance I have a 95 b2300(essentially a ranger) and it has the twin I beams in the front and I can’t find anything out there for it, I found a kit for the rear 5” drop and the front drop with springs, but can’t even find lowering shocks. Do you think not having lowering shocks would make it not go as low?
Bless your soul boomhaur
Yea man, tahkun bout dag on drops man, dag on uh ford ranger man, on da dirt man.
I was thinking the same 😂
Lol same😂
He always got the women
I still do
Looks great, been planning on doing this to my 97 B2300! Thanks for posting this
👍 thanks for the support
Good camera angles 👍
May I ask you what’s everything you bought to drop it? Kit?
You sound like EVERY SINGLE KID I grew up with my entire childhood in Kentucky 😂 that’s super cool since I’m in Michigan now lol
Lolz. Thats funny.
Definitely similar. Moved over to kc mo. Miss Kentucky for sure
How is the ride? Do you feel every bump?
Not too bad. If you get quality parts and good shocks designed for a drop kit, it will still ride good
Man sounds like cornbread.. awesome video btw haha.
Idk who the person cornbread is.... but the food is yummy
@@ballsoutperformance haha its just something we say here for people that sound very southern. :D
And, I say that looks really 👍🏼 good
Thanks for answering this question.
Dang ol ford ranger
Danger ranger
How does the truck drive does it bottom out horribly like everybody says drop kits do?
No, the people that say that, dont know what theyre talking about
Any recommendations for the parts to do ths to my 1990 ford ranger
I think this was a cheap ebay kit. If you want something better, DJM brand is a good value for your money.
Did you have to cut into the cab?
No
What was the name of the kit yall used for this ranger! I got a 94 and I wanna do the same kit!
I dont think it had a name. It was a ebay special
Ok. Thanks Theo. I enjoy your video Theo it was very informative! 🤘🏻🪖
Looks nice!!!👍🏻👍🏻
Hell yea gonna do this to mine
💪
Can you put the link to the kit in the comments
Where do you get the offset bushing from?
Any local part store can order them. A good alignment shop should stock them as well. Theyll need to measure your current camber and caster to determine which one you need and to install it in the correct orientation
Thanks!
What did you say you can do to fix the cambering in the front?

They make adjustable ones so you don't have to pre measure. I'm looking at Moog's adjustable bushing for when I do ball joints and possibly level kit.
Or you could do drop spindles to get rid of some of the camber if your lowering a rwd
No drop spindles for I-beam Rangers that I know of. @@ak47pro1viking3
@@dukeskookum2674 where can I get the adjustable ones?
Where to get the parts to lower the Ranger from the rear
I think this was just a cheap kit from ebay
I will believe anything a person says about trucks if they talk like this.
U a real 1 fo dat
Would I need to get my front end aligned?
Absolutely
Dang ole leaf springs
What shocks and springs did you use?
They were owner supplied. I think just some cheap stuff.
Would I need to get new shocks ?
You dont have to but its best

No, it just may not ride as good without them.
@@ballsoutperformance thanks for the help, I can’t find anything on the rangers and Mazdas with the twin I beams in the front so this helps
What size tires you running now with that?
Im not sure. He sold it right after this, lol
@@ballsoutperformance 🤣🤣 all good man Thanks
What was the name of the kit he used
It was generic
Where could I get this kit?
Owner provided it. I think it was just a cheap ebay kit. Owner didnt want to spend much in it.
no C-notch?
Owner didnt want to notch. Its a beater and he really didnt care
Power steering pump screaming away classic ranger
I lowered it and now the e brake is stuck
Make sure the cable isnt pinched or pulled tight somewhere
It isn’t, do you think I would have to readjust it
@@spy6271 maybe. Thats just wierd. Ive never had to do that after a lowering job
Boomhouer is that you?
Dagum, guilty as charged mane
I wish i could actually see the final result. It's too dark
