I have no affiliation to the following companies but the links may be of interest:

Thanks for posting this. Based on your experience I have just bought and fitted one of these kits to my Brompton 6 Speed. Apart from the useless bag, it was ok to fit and really fun to ride. I went with a different bag "work around" option and got a Rhinowalk Handlebar Bottle bag. It fits with a little bit of extra space. I did have to cut a few holes in the bottom for the wires, but it folds perfectly and leaves the bag block free for whatever I want to put there.
That sounds like an interesting solution Allan. It would be great to see a video review of your workaround. And you're right, it's pretty good fun to ride👍.
Amazing setup. Thanks for this.
I'm planning to get a similar setup. I'm currently in a dilemma of getting the frog mount Vs the strap bag option.
I do want the capability of having a front bag.
It would be great if you can make a video explaining the front bag setup where the Woosh kit goes in.
Hi Abhisek, thanks for your comments. Yes the kit is good but the bag fitting arrangement isn't adequate as supplied. It flops about the front stem on ridiculous straps. However the bag itself is good and I fitted it to an 'L' shaped bracket (from Amazon) by means of a bungee chord wrapped around bag and bracket. The bracket then clips into the luggage mount quite securely. This still means of course that the luggage mount is now occupied - and I don't have a solution to offer you on that. My setup will be a little clearer if you watch 'Brompton goes WOOSH' on this link: ruclips.net/video/mVXXkoPUgw4/видео.html
Regards, Peter
Thanks for the response. I got to know Woosh has discontinued the frog mount option anyways.
Could you please add the link for the L shaped mount you got from Amazon.
@abhishekmahato516 sure, here's the link: www.amazon.co.uk/Adapter-Brompton-Aluminum-Installation-Accessory/dp/B0CHJLZBZR/ref=mp_s_a_1_27?crid=1DVBVZRNP5RY8&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.gCwI3G3P8oXdog9oBjVqGGxl5NnWfW5-en-i7TJy-NUTHF6kOKTXcCZAkZTtiAHe8-VioXXVwdbeLlItHyEyU2AsaXs3QGgYysJheiaDYUJZqXwbHSXoW5I8YJmN12SB9HKwVXvWJ34X-Ub1pzdW_DagYrChil5Bg9FG1I9K5uf8V-SCV7kMNkCNgsPxO-6y51_W5LAVyWnnrW72qv0cQA.DLKoVPqqJ2-G-duubsSBgkF9Nymc5E1TaAGpGue3udQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=brompton+mounting+bracket&qid=1724763101&sprefix=brompton+mounting+bracket%2Caps%2C248&sr=8-27
Great vlog thanks, I'll look at getting one of them. When you said how your front wheel use to spin going up a steep hill, it's the opposite for me, my rear wheel spins going up a steep hill 😮
Thanks again.
Thanks Raymond, maybe someone will come up with power on both wheels!
I’ve got the exact same bike as yours, same year. same colour
I would love to purchase this kit .
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching, I'm glad it was useful. I intend to do an update video shortly, comparing it to my wife's shop-bought Estarli 20".

🚴♂️nice one ! I look forward to it 🚴🏼♀️
Nice,thanks for the video
Thanks for watching zazi
Hi, very useful video. I have a 20" folding bike and I currently have a the previous generation of Swytch kit (pro gen 2) mounted on a Brompton type luggage block. I have a numerous hardware faults with this kit and reached the point of giving up on it. I don't really trust Swytch anymore and their aftercare.
What I do like about this version of the Swytch kit is I can remove the battery without having to unplug leads.
I have been looking at the whoosh Brompton kit as a possible alternative. Do you know if the frog kit the battery be removed without disconnecting cables? I want to be able to lock the bike up somewhere and be able easily remove the battery so I can take it with me.
Hi Chris, Thank you for watching.I believe that the frog mount battery unclips leaving the cabling in place. But check out the details on the website carefully as I have not physically seen this kit. Here is a link for you: wooshbikes.co.uk/?hubkits#q70kit. I hope you find the information you need. Just for the record, I am still really happy with my kit.👍
This is awesome! I wanted Arcc but I'm in the USA. I love the idea of using universally available power tool batteries and that you can take it on an airplane. I wonder if the battery in this is Airline ready?
Thanks NoZenith, they do many battery options but I'm not sure about 'Airline ready'. You could email them at kits@wooshbikes.co.uk
@@2wheellucas thank you very much
The arcc looks fab but the price is çrazy.
What an excellent sensible review. I hope to find a used Brompton to covert with a Woosh kit. Only reservation is hub noise. Is it quiet? I have Bafang G111 on a big bike and it has spoilt me as its so silky and silent. Woosh seem really nice people to deal with.
Hi Malcolm, thank you for your very kind comment. A used Brompton would be a great way to do it I think. With regard to motor noise, it is a tricky one to answer for me as I haven't tried many different e-bikes. You can hear it but it isn't anything that would draw attention. My wife says it is quieter than her Estarli, and I regard her bike as fairly quiet. Maybe I should do a short 'Ride Past' video, with and without motor running? I think that would be a good idea. Yes, Woosh seem ok to deal with and very knowledgeable.
@@2wheellucas a Whrrr is acceptable but not a Scream! Some Chinese geared motors do Scream in little wheels
It definitely doesn't scream, I reckon it's a gentle whirr. But then it's a bit subjective I suppose (my hearing isn't perfect). I'll do a ride past vid, with and without motor and see how it goes.
Thanks so much for posting, this looks to be just what I'm after. I know these things can be a bit variable depending on how much effort you're prepared to put into pedalling, what level of power you use, hill climbing etc. etc. but have you come to any conclusions as to the distance a single charge will take you? Cheers 👍🏼
Hi Mick, thanks for your interest and your question. The battery option I took from Woosh was a 36volt 10amp/hour, and the claim they make is 30 miles (probably optimum conditions etc). However, I cannot vouch for that as I have only done shorter rides - 12 miles on average. The great thing though, is that if the battery ran out it would cause me no hassle at all, as the bike rides perfectly normal with everything switched off. Incidentally. I have just checked their website, and there is another battery option (36v 15amp/hour) that claims a 50 mile range.
@@2wheellucas Thanks very much for your reply. I had a look and didn't see the 15Ah battery option, so thanks for the pointer. I was interested in taking my bike abroad but seeing it's a 36volt system I wouldn't be able to take the batteries on a flight.
***I'm adding this as I see someone else has asked about flying with the Woosh kit***
According to the Cycling UK Website the regulations specify that... "Most e-bike batteries are banned from aeroplanes, even in hand luggage. The standard limit is 100Wh (a big laptop battery), while batteries up to 160Wh may be carried with approval from the airline. Swytch sells a 90Wh ‘AIR’ battery and ARCC uses batteries as small as 144Wh, but most others are too high capacity. Note that you can take multiple smaller batteries."
By my calculations the Woosh batteries are as follows
Formula: amp hours × volts = watt hours
Abbreviated: Ah × V = Wh
10Ah battery: 10Ah x 36v=360Wh
13Ah battery: 13Ah x 36v=468Wh
15Ah battery: 15Ah x 36v=540Wh
Apologies for this wordy reply but it might be useful to other viewers.
Cheers 👍🏼
Edit: 12/08/23 Stupid copy/paste typos in above formula corrected. (🤦🏼♂)
@mickholland3739 Thanks for the additional info, it might be very useful for others. I'm glad to notice that you correctly gave the amp/hour data as 13 rather than 15 which I had incorrectly put (eyesight not so sharp at my age).👍
Another Q mate, can you leave the battery in place on the bike to charge it. Is there a port to plug the charger into ? Many thanks...
Yes it can be left on the bike, it has a socket (on a short lead) inside the bag. The charger and cable is about two metres long. Because I have the bag attached to an L bracket that clicks into the luggage mount, it's easier for me to unclip it and charge away from the bike.
Thank you for posting this video as it looks a brilliant kit, 9 mths on are you still using it and have you had any problems.
I would appreciate your ongoing thoughts, thanks Peter
Thanks Peter. Yes it's still going strong, no problems at all, I am still loving this kit (and the Brompton). Looking forward to better weather to come. I will keep posting updates as I go👍
Hello lucas, i'm on the website and what i'm finding is 3 kit for 500+€
But they sell the front wheel with everything at that price or we need to buy something else ?
Hi, The kit I bought is the Q70 bag-mount kit for Brompton. It is still showing on the website at £499. The kit includes everything including wheel (however I ordered an extra pas cable extension so i could mount it on my luggage block}. I must emphasise though that the battery bag is NOT stable enough secured only by the strap arrangement (in my opinion) which is why I bought an L shaped luggage bracket to secure it to (with bungee straps). There is another option called the frog mount that fits permanently to the luggage block at £599. I would suggest speaking to Andy at Woosh and go through it all with him. It's best to be sure for a purchase of this size. Thanks for your question👍
@@2wheellucas Oh, you are awesome
I will ! Thanks you mate and have a good day
Small update !
I purchase the kit Q70 15AH(90km autonomy) battery with the front bag.
For this version, the bag is huge and solid with rain protection and have 2 attach for the front frame and 2 for the handlebar. It doesnt move at all and stay where he is even when folding.
What i like is it's completly invisible, you can think from outside when you see its a bag to put away thing like our wallet/bottle or something like that and it's exactly what i wanted for a electric setup.
To fit the tire with the wheel was for me very difficult without dishwashing liquid to prevent using tool and damage the wheel rim but it was done anyway.
Like you say, the noise is very very low and really you dont notice it at all in the city with car and people around you so it's a good thing.
So i did 69km already with it and it work flawlessly !
Hill, Flat road & whatever... It's awesome and i know now why some people will never go back to non electric bike, it's really fun and confy even when you are tired because of work, facing strong wind etc..
Notice you can adjust the speed to 40km/h max but from Woosh it will void the warranty past 32km/h(for me) and the battery wont last as much as it can be push so dont do it for your sake.
Anyway, awesome kit, excellent customer service they quickly answer your question from email and much much better than the electric brompton bike(front bag using 70% for the battery, less autonomy, speed not adjustable) and less expensive ( It cost me 2450€ in total instead of 3495€)
Have fun Wheellucas and thanks you for your video, because without it i probably will never knew the Woosh Company. (They really need to do some ad for this, they deserve it)

@s.a-b3842 That's a great review! It seems like the 15ah option is worth a look. So glad it has worked well for you. I agree with you on the tyre change, hardest part of the job! Thanks for the update.
@@s.a-b3842 Hi, I thought I had replied to your post, so sorry for the delay. You have done a great review for people who are contemplating a battery option - thanks for that. 90km is an awesome range, and taking a look at your bike image (nice bike!) your mounting arrangement seems better than mine. I agree regarding the tyre change, it was the hardest part of the job for me too, I believe that the continental tyres are much easier to change and I am thinking of swapping over to them to avoid the hassle of a tyre change on the road due to a puncture. Keep us posted with how the bike performs over time. Thanks for your input👍.
Hi thanks for the review sounds like a good kit at a reasonable price, only thing that puts me off is the cables hanging down, do you clip them to the frame when your riding ? How is the fold ?
Once again thanks for posting 🙂
Hi, the cables (1 coming up from the front hub, and 1 each from the sensor and display unit) do need to be secured. I tuck them under my bungee strap on the battery bag. The fold isn't affected other than you are aware that the front wheel is now a little heavier than before when clipping it into its fold position. I am about to put up a short review of Lidl's Crivit helmets shortly, I will add a couple of folded close-ups of the Brompton for you.
