A Short Antenna On 80m With The Mad Dog Coil.

Getting on 80m is not always easy given the antenna length requirements, but with a coil you can use a much shorter wire or telescopic whip. Here I test the Mad Dog Coil from Australia, which works really well and is well built. Note that the uSDX is performing surprisingly well too with this antenna and less than 5W!
