I pray God will continue to use you to open the eyes of not only people in the world but also the members of the church. In Jamaica the church used to stand up for the principles of God's requirements now its almost like whatever you like goes and its wrong- this of course is my humble opinion based on what I have been seeing for example at a number of Music Day. I know people will get upset but we have to get to the point where we start accepting truth and make an effort to do better. (Also I stopped attending these celebrations called Music Days years ago). Your church or the ones you have been to might be different but I have seen a lot of worldly songs and basically sound systems in the church - loud music at these festivities. Look at what is happening around us our redemption draweth nigh, let us help each other along the way, blessings.
Are you so sure? In the scriptures there were men who stood looking towards heaven with hands raised. We pick and pick and miss the mark. If this is what you should do then do it. There is no law to bend or stand only.
What about those who stood looking towards heaven with holy hands raised, AND individuals who were flat on the ground prostrate praying? I think the pastor would know given he recite scripture and Spirit of Prophecy from memory.
God's mercies towards us is beyond words in our limited vocabulary. We often take Him and His love towards us for granted believing that we can throw anything and say take that because that is how I am worshipping You. Both Abel and Cain worshipped God but only 1 was accepted. We have lost our true identity as a church to a great extent taking on Sabbaths music from the world dressing it in so-called christian clothes, screaming or shouting believing that God has to accept it. He has the angels offering Him true worship in Heaven covering their faces in reverence and we sinful being here acting as if we are doing God a favour and He must accept it. How dare us worship with that mentality not seeing the awesome privilege God has given us to obey and worship Him. Sorry for the long text, blessings.
