Core 3 is always such a reliable one. I love it. It’s an easy way to start team building. I love how the Fire and Water types are so splashable based on what you want. I wanna give Dirge a try this format so throwing him along with Aqua tauros will be fun to try
I really hope you're right that Clefable is a thing. Playing Smogon Singles gave me a real soft spot for that 'mon and I'd love to find a reason to use it in VGC.
Thanks for sharing. I personally hope we can get a bulky offense/priority spam, ala mdb's worlds team, as a core soon. The closest is probably the rilla gambit core you described, but more instant offense then people are playing it right now But basically no set up, not much traditional speed control, just bulky mons that use a lot of priorty that out damage trade the opponent. I think for that to work we need balance teams to rise up and push the rain, dozo, mausape, and psyspam teams out of the way. In reg g this was the archetype i used and it did best against the caly balance teams. So we need that type of team to come in and take over the meta again
ive been running this core with sinistcha instead of amoongus, i like having the trickroom option in case tailwind isnt the play, also a great defensive swap-in beside archaludon since it heals
substitute sneasler, sd kingambit, av rillaboom and safety goggles farigaraf. You can mess around with the items and movesets (I've tried coaching on sneasler next to av kingambit and clear amulet rilla), and the last two mons could be prima incin, could be gholdengo dnite, but in terms of the first 4 for me this is the best core I've used in reg h so far. I'm taking name ideas but for now I really like Sneezer. Thoughts?
I'm working on a team that has all those except the Farigiraf, paired with Electabuzz for redirection, Arcanine for Howl support, and Prim just as a good all around water type.
I like Sneasler in this format, it’s really going to come down to how well it’s able to survive hits, as it’s pretty frail and can miss ko’s at times. But it is definitely a cool option
H Goodra with sap sipper shelter body press destroys everything but ghost types. Then add a Tera fire sylveon to check goldengo Tera blast fire or hyper voice if it dragon Teras. Build the core out with sableye for screen and taunt support and comfey for healing
I do not believe we have dates yet, but I would imagine 3rd or 4th weekend in September is a fair guess, since they need time to open the registration in game
@@SableyeVGC what mons can clear it? ive been using sneasler and w-tauros and neither can 1 shot, even gengar hitting focus blast doesnt clear it. its way too strong with that typing.

I thought it was going to be a threat just have a water type in front of it and pivot into Ursaluna and they waste a turn and go for an Earth Power the following turn it’ll be gone it 2-3 hits and as long as you pressure their partner enough they just get cornered at least that’s been my experience playing against it
It really depends on how you want to play the core, prio haze is very strong, but I think talon with flying coverage, wisp/fire coverage and non prankster taunt is a bit more consistent across more matches than haze is.
Dondozo and Tatsu is a pretty good core, dont know how many people have tried that yet but its pretty underrated.

Murkrow tailwind, haze, foulplay, and thunderwave. My go to with Goldango

I’ve been using max defense cleffable with thunderwave and it makes the Dozo matchup quite easy
Focus Sash is occupied on my team. I’ll use Politoed instead.
I’ve been having fun with a beat up maushold + archaluradon team
Do we know when the global challenge thing is set to start?

I don’t think so, people will figure out game plans for it, but there is no denying it is incredible strong right now

Can you make some anti meta cores? Ive been wanting to try something thats not so popular rn for reg H but having trouble coming up with ideas
I plan on it for sure, I’ve just been waiting to see what meta actually ends up being
@@SableyeVGC ok cool. Cant wait to see it!!
Awee yeah🎉
"must try cores" and its a video of cores that 92.3% of the smogon ladder uses. Brother i think they are using them 💀💀💀.
Well yeah, that’s why you must try them. Because they’re good and you’ll do well with them.
