@@thiscityisreallylookslikea8340 Yeah I think that it's tragic that she ended up that way, but she's unmistakably an unredeemable monster by the time we find her. We just put her out of her misery.
@@thiscityisreallylookslikea8340 I mean she is since if you read it you find out fairies are garbage and capricious like human, so they just ended up destroying things cause they feel like it. @@thiscityisreallylookslikea8340 Did you miss the part where she tried to do it "the right way" for 4.000 years? She brockered peace between the clans, she stopped the war between the northern and southern fairies, she made a human their king WITH THE EXPLICIT CONSENT AND AGREEMENT of the fairies. What doesn't help is that most fairies instinctively hate her because if she does her job as "fairy of paradis" Britain will cease to exist/be destroyed. She got rid of calamities for them, great and small, only for those she saved to attempt to murder her the minute the calamity is over. She was murdered in the original timeline because of this. She revived fairy civilization after it's destruction. She prevented calamities from occuring by sealing them (giving Bagharest a name), she made a backuplan in the event of her death (the northern fairy qween) to have Britain survive. She helped Tristain because she was the only fairy who ever bothered to thank her for all she had done. And taught her to sadistic because being kind repeatedly led to her death. (granted, not the best parenting strategy, but her intention was good) Granted she herself stated she didn't "care" about anyone besides the land of Britain itself, but concluded that the best way to keep Britain safe was to keep the fairies safe. The end result is the same. The simple fact is: Fae Britain can onlly be ruled by a tyrant. Any other way of governing has failed because Faireis just aren't like humans. The minute she dies everything goes to hell. Even Castoria stated she hated the place/her life in fae Britain. The only "mistake" Morgan made was not finishing her mission and forging excalibur. Because she chose Fae Britains survival over it's destruction, as it shouldn't have existed in the first place. I mean, Vortigem/Oberon is literally Britains attempt to commit suicide.
@@thiscityisreallylookslikea8340 I'm a bit confused because you keep switching between lostbelt Britain and PPH Britain. Like PPH Arthoria was there as a backup... Are we talking about being a backup for Lostbelt Britain? I'm pretty sure you're talking about PPH Britain there. Vortigem of PPH was Britains way of preventing the age of mystics to end, in place of the age of man. Vorgiem failed, the age of mystics ended etc... Vortigem of the lostbelt was Britains way of commiting suicide. So much so that Britain kept bringing him back after he failed (aka the Mors king). Lostbelt Vortigem succeeded. True Morgana is flawed. Which I think makes her a great character. Apparently the story was originally going to be exactly how you described it (Regarding Morgan) until Nasu saw the way his artist drew Morgana and said: are you telling me that beauty is that scheming wench? That and how Oberon was created changed the entire story. Also Artoria states multiple times she doesn't care about the land of the fae. Her "final speech" literally has her stating she hated her life. But was going through with her mission for her own sake.So Morgan and Artoria both don't care for the fae. And why would they? Fae instinctively hate them. That whole posisoning of Melb thing on cornoation day was exactly the same scenario Morgana went through 2.400 years ago with Uther. And why? Because Aurora's didn't want to get upstaged by someone else in popularity. Whether that's good or bad for Britain is irrelevant for her. She just has to be number 1.
With the recent new version of this theme of Tonelico's Noble Phantasm, I hope it get the same treatment as Castoria and become her own theme. I would love this song to have the same treatment as Castoria when she was released (her NP theme was a short version of The Moment a Star is Born, maybe this new version of Tonelico could be called The Moment a Star is Reached/Reborn)
This song is nice and all but some of the piano notes sound too close to the standard windows 10 error tone and it's giving me a heart attack every time
Morgan, originally named Vivian, was one of Britain's saviors. Thus "Tonelico". Her foster mother called her Tonelico. That is one of her three names in a sense. Vivian, Tonelico, Morgan
