Breaking Open 2 Geodes!

We got this geode kit from Target for $11.89. As mentioned in the video, it would have been better if we had used a chisel to score a line around the geode and then use the hammer to break it open. The geodes were still very pretty to look at. They're quartz geodes, and there are so many crystals inside! Thanks for watching!

Thirty something years ago my sister brought me a bunch of these in various sizes from the Grand Canyon. One is the size of a large grapefruit. I never opened a one. Now I'm thinking have hammer and will get it done. Blessings

I agree with you. next time we'll use a tile saw to cut them clean in half ☺️
