Love it! I find it fun to read books on topics that interest me without researching the author. This approach have lead me down many different routes and allowed me to explore viewpoints that I probably wouldn’t have explored otherwise. I wouldn’t recommend this as a general rule for everyone though 😀.
Thanks Bjorn. It’s nice to explore new books if you know nothing, however if you’re looking to finish more books, it’s definitely best to be hyper specific.
Great tips! Gonna share mine. I'm used to give myself chance for 50 pages to read. If I can enjoy the book I will go on. And sometimes I think the time is just not right to read it, because I have a book that I haven't read for almost 3 years; I've just read it recently and I was fine with it. That was the right time, after 3 years 😆 other tips for myself is, if I think I want to read it just read, if I don't want to I won't do it haha.... Nice discussion, Aun. Hope you're having great days!!
That's happened to me as well. I've bought a book and no read it straight away but have given it time to come back to it. Definitely works well that way as well. :)
Hey, I've just started to map this out on Notion. booktalktoday.notion.site/f5ac42f4faad49938a17a7b769215d7a?v=8662e9d1ddea43e0a9424d9cc949115d. This isn't complete but is a WIP - It has my recommended books, links to reviews and interviews as well as affiliate links if you wish to purchase.
How to read and remember academic books and textbooks for exams? Is there any book you have come across about that?
I will be making a video on this soon.
