Hi all. This shipment made it safe and sound and the temp remained rather steady around 76F which is wonderful. It was a bit scary but this packing method worked well and they are now in the hands of a very happy keeper! At the end I showed customers text after getting his shipment. Thank you. Kevin
Kevin I'm not surprised by your vast amounts of knowledge but I'm humbled that you do not horde your knowledge and freely share your experiences and expertise with us. Ours is a community that really takes care to share knowledge and I appreciate this.
LOVE THIS VIDEO! Donny can you get Kevin to film more of these kinds of videos please? Like more breeder tips? That would be awesome! Also Kevin, years ago I commented on your old monitor psychology videos about my lace monitors, they are all grown up and absolutely wonderful animals! Couldn't of done it without your knowledge and videos! Thank you again!
My last two snakes were shipped through Reptile Express (a Canadian entity) in the extreme heat we’ve been having and were packaged almost identically as what you have shown. Also received real-time updates as to where they were in their FedEx journey’s. in the end, two healthy babies arrived. Still get a giggle out of snakes shipped in deli containers. Kind of think a free potato or macaroni salad should also be included for the price of shipping lol.
Thank you for posting this. I’m always afraid of shipping in hot weather. I do smaller colubrids. It would be awesome to show how you package a small box for cold temps since there isn’t as much room in those. 🖤
I seriously appreciate this video! I am new into breeding and the most intimidating part for me has been shipping especially with this awful heat thats been happening in New England!
I just got a Pure Sonoran boa shipped to me and we had to make it around this crazy hot weather. Luckily she got to me just fine, but a couple days and it would be pushing 100F. Good luck to everyone and stay healthy, along with any of your new friends!
The weather here is starting to get bipolar. It gets hot and humid during the day, up to 90F. Then down to 50F at night, which in my opinion feels colder than March due to the humidity. It will be freezing at night soon, usually by the end of August. I'm like a 7-9 hour drive North of Toronto though.
Do the boxes acciddntally get flipped upside down by sorters at hubs, and does it matter? Or do they have instruction to keep the box strictly right side up, packed as you did? I just wonder if the snakes can be transported in a small container upside down. :/
Its always sucked being in Mesa Arizona, where we get well over 100 days per year that are over 100 degrees lol. Honestly it's like 130 days a year sometimes.
Food cost! I have a breeding colony of 9 ball pythons I've had for 15 years or so. I am truly considering selling all of them for anything because of the feed cost. Reptile are luxuries and during recessions luxuries are hard to afford.I love my animals but I love eating also.
Just shipped my very first ball python that sold on morph market and it was so stressful but I was surprised how simple it was and how quick it got from Alabama to California lol. If anyone is interested my morph market is Magic City Morphs. We also have a RUclips for our whole journey with breeding!
Mr G if you are referring to Lillith the white king cobra she sadly passed away a while ago now. Still tugs on the heart strings! In loving memory of the all favorite and famous Lillith!
another reptile youtuber had to move, and lost 2 animals, even though he was trying to be careful moving them with frequent stops and such....but they just weren't able to take the trip.

Very kind. K
The thought and planning that is going into the shipping is amazing. It’s so good to see how well cared for these snakes are.

Gotta love Kevin. "global positioning satellite". Assuming people have never heard of a GPS before. 🤣🤣
Most likely he just taught several people what the GPS stands for. 😜
7 Amazon Basin Emeralds.. definitely a 'big deal' package. LoL I wish I could afford just one of these beautiful animals.
Really enjoyed this video thanks. Ha often thought how do you send live reptiles around. Thank you xxx
Thanks for the class Mr. Kevin!

About the oxygene - how long can a snake breath in a flamingo box? And do you have to make airholes in that?
