This is being done on a secondary ps4 that I bought on a lower firmware. No risk of getting banned because it's never been online and isn't even linked to psn.

I got another ps4 specifically for messing around with. Unless you kept your ps4 on an older firmware for modding it, your gonna have to get one that hasn't been updated.

In order to do this kind of modifications, you have to be on 4.05 at the moment, so you would not be able to go online
And you can go back to the latest update whenever you want?
