Wholeheartedly agree. We here in the UK are very good at talking about weather matters. The Native Americans to bring rain carried out a rain dance. Here in England to bring rain...We just light up our barbeques. Let's hope Summer arrives so you can get on with your plans.
You, have both worked very hard! To, organize everything! To, build it all yourselve's is marvellous. Hope, you get better weather soon! 🐶X🐾🐾🐾🐾🐶X 🐾🐾🐾🐾 🦉 🐓 XX
I just think it is so great that you guys have all these projects going! I know what it takes to design and build those enclosures and structures. Not everyone can do that. Sean, you have a great talent in that! Collin, I have been loving your work with the bees! I love the fact that give so much educational content about the hives and how the bees live and survive all conditions. Keep up the great work, guys! Love, from Missouri, USA!! 😊💙💙🐕🐓🐝🦉

Another great video boys, the weather we can’t control, the pen is looking great for Sherlock. Nice to see you have harvested your very own honey well done. Have great week😊
You really are the most amusing double couple in every way and busy with it from chatting filming. I love Fridays…..huge interest and cheeky giggles, what could be better.
You guys are a natural in front of the camera! Talented, engaging, entertaining… look forward to your banter and updates each week. Much love and thanks for sharing your stories!
Shaun been doing an amazing job with Sherlock's new home and I definitely agree about the weather one minute it's raining/sunny/ and raining again you're doing a good job with the bee's as well Colin fingers crossed and let's hope that summer will come back again with nice weather and good sunshine.
Ooh excited for sampling your honey and marmalade when ready. I do so admire all that you both do. You remind me of Tom and Barbara from The Good life. I love all your projects and have so much love and respect for you both.
You have a lot to be working on - I sure understand it can’t all happen at once. Sherlock’s space is really coming along! Very impressive, Sean! And the many apiaries are impressive, too, Colin! You guys always have interesting things going on. Thanks for sharing with us!
Another great video. I'd quite like to see a few videos on Shaun's building projects, longer versions with a bit more detail. But, maybe that just me 😲 Weather's been rubbish here too in Shap (basically the Highlands in miniature 😉) Fascinating video as ever look forward to next week.
You guys are so handy!! Sherlock’s pen is beautiful. And the bee hives look perfect. I’m jealous! No one in my household can build nice things like those. But good on you. Keep up the good efforts. (And I love your videos ❤️)
So, I started watching you both as whilst I am mainly into sailing, anything around water is of interest and you were so entertaining on the canal. I'm now learning about bee keeping and all sorts on a Scottish croft as well as understanding a lot more about mental health. Thank you so much for the massive amount of work you do to provide your content, keep on informing us!! Best wishes from an equally moist and chilly Lake District!!
Welcome to the Scottish weather. I moved to Scotland 38 years ago and I have found that May & June are fine, July and August are wet (topping up the lochs) and then fine again in September.
I live just down the road from @FoxesAfloat and I concur this summer’s weather is abnormal. My sweet-toothed beasties, not that my bees have teeth, require extra syrup at the moment.
Sherlock’s home is coming along nicely. We’ll done Shaun. Colin I hope your bees are okay. It’s amazing how many hives you have. I hope the wet weather will get better so your little friends can get out and forage. Keep up the good work you two.

Any burn that was big enough to swim if not it was dated to make a swim pool. The don’t touch the sides was the saying we were all brought up with lol. The salmon have just started to run no waiting for the water to rise this year. Jams have been made from our soft fruits, red currant, blackcurrant, strawberry, strawberry and rhubarb and raspberry. Our veg has suffered due to the heavy downpours. Then in come the deer and nick the rest. Did you know badgers eat tulip bulbs, we didn’t. Not many tulips this year the badgers had wild parties baking tulip bulbs on their barbecue. Lots of baby squirrels, Debbie and Harry, Tina and Turner, Otis and Redding and poor little Debbie who appears on her own. Mum otter had two kittens Jill and Jack they play mostly at night. The fox cubs are also out at night as well. Later in the night the badgers stage fight night the noise of screaming is unbelievable. I’ve gone out twice to break it up, to get back into bed for it to start again. Our cat Hamish is the referee often coming in scratched and scared. Then we have the mystery animal. It’s a very large cat of some description, about the size of a Labrador. Lots of guesses as to what it is, when it creeps in everything disappears. The owls call the warning and everything goes quiet. We have got it on our tree camera but not a clear enough picture to identify it., other then it’s not a pet cat or a native Scottish Wild cats. It’s not a Pine Martin either. They have vanished since this wee beastie turned up. It’s not big enough to be Nessie on holiday. We call it Nellie as it is a beastie.
