I got into GA a month ago and this podcast has been a big help. Listening to the three of you talk about the game casually helps me understand the game and its mechanics from a different place then I do when just focusing on playing the game. I hope that makes sense!
I agree with not wanting color pie breaks. The thing I think we have to keep in mind is that there are things elements are good at and things classes are good at. This might make us feel some cards are out of place. So when you're looking at a fire cleric card makes sense cleric counters and fire burns
Thanks for shoutout. We specifically mention Leo alot because he was producer-san for that stream and he did a phenomenal job!! Was his first time ever, so proud of him :3 Cheri is part of our crew, but she was in JP at the time.
I totally get the magic brain thing I do it all the time but it's also a nice punish when a someone is being smug about their experience as an MTG player lol. Also I'm glad they did put in an answer for fractured lanterns in norm with dusklight communion that every class can run at the cost of sacrificing a mat slot.
Just wanted to share that I'm one of the noobs who luckily didn't have to go against Eva when she got first place at a recent weekly/local store tournament :P
What the heck, I responded to this last week with a long comment but now it's nowhere to be found. T__T Will try to retype... First of all welcome to the game! There's lots of awesome creators in the scene but my biggest recommendation would have to go to Maindeck who makes lots of informational longform and shortform GA content. For frequent updates on GA news, Lineage Break's podcast is a great resource. And True Champion Gaming has really good videos for competitive play and decks!
sorry that this episode of RantGA went so long that we didn't have time to answer the questions we received 🥹 next time! best of luck everyone entering the giveaway!!!
