Men can't handle that. I found that out when my ex husband was cheating and I threw him out. He saw me talking to some one and lost his mind. He told me that in the city we lived in people knew him and it didn't look right . But because he was a man it was more excepted. So that lead us to divorce court.

I really love this Osman character, sensitive, intelligent, warm hearted, but sometimes surprises one with some actions, you never expect from him. But this relationship will break you. Burcu doesn't love him. She's trying to change Osman into her vision of what a man is. Osman is waking up to he reality of who they are as individuals. She'll push and pout and bully her way into getting what she wants in their marriage.

Did she stay to talk it out with her husband...no! She got angry and left for another country where no one would think to find her. Leaving a note for her husband that it is over between them!!! Over means that she is no longer in a relationship with him. She does not want to be with him anymore. She does not want him. They are done!!! She did not listen to the advice her deceased mother gave her as a little girl when she got so angry when the crown she made for her mother was broken. Her mother tried fixing it but Sureyya took it, dropped it on the ground and stomped on it angrily. Her told her she should not behave that way when things are going wrong but to talk it out instead of impulsively becoming angry. She told Farouk it was over between them. Only wrong he did was not waiting to be divorced from her before being with another woman.

In Episode 171 Sureyya is just showing Faruk she not putting up with him hiding things good or bad. A Marriage relationship has to be with truth and understanding then it will work. The Love will always remain strong if there is honesty and love. Mine did although we did hit certain pit falls but what marriage doesn’t in 51 Years.
Surayya is so typical and eventually will forgive cheater Faruq, who got jealous with Can. But he shamelessly slept with Godze!! Men will have so many excuses to cheat!!

@schaudhry Couldn't agree more. It was fine for him to hang around having good time with Begum, Gozde & Ozgur but it is a crime for Sureyya to be around other man. When he hide things from Sureyya, it was supposedly to protect her & not wanting to ruin her day. But when Sureyya didn't inform him about the stalker & visit to her doctor, he flew into a rage. He says Sureyya is the love of his life & wouldn't last a day without her, yet his actions contradicts himself. He has no trouble moving on & moved to ex lover/Begum house to take care of her & dutifully playing baby's daddy, passionate fling with Gozde & giving extra special attention to his young PA, Ozgur & expects Sureyya to turn a blind eye. Despite all this, he puts all the blame on Sureyya & expects her to understand him. IMO, Sureyya can be forgiven for running away, because he took her too much for granted. Thought the temporary seperation taught him lessons to admit his mistakes, offer sincere apologies to Sureyya, take responsibility & accountability for his actions, but instead it was always Sureyya's fault, not his. It is high time for Faruk to value & appreciate his wife.

He's feeling claustrophobic because all his stuff is gone and they're taking over his life. He's panicking. A few gradual changes are good in the beginning and maybe more as time goes on but not someone coming in and totally changing everything without your consent. There's nothing left in that apartment that says Osman lives here. I have the biggest beef with the books they want to get rid of. I'm a huge reader on many different subjects and I don't care if I've already read a book, don't touch my books!

C'est vrai que c'est à double tranchant. Faudrait-il éloigner Adem ou pas ? L'éloigner peut le rendre encore plus dangereux, et l'inviter peut aussi lui faciliter la vengeance. En se mettant à la place de la famille Boran, le choix est très compliqué. Mais nous autres spectateurs, le choix nous paraît plus évident (éloigner Adem) car on a une vision plus globale de la situation.

All those who keep blaming Surayya for not forgiving Faruk, I wonder how they would have reacted if something similar happened to them. I'm not a fan of Surayya's impulsive an childish behaviour, she can't keep a secret and blabbers every little thing to her friend and aunt. But still it doesn't change the fact that she was intentionally wronged here.
Yes, she left without an explanation and it was definitely not a wise move. She should have stayed and confronted Faruk about all his lies. But that doesn't excuse him having a one night stand with another woman. Whatever you might call it, it was cheating in my books. He was still married and moreover Surayya was gone for just two months. Did he have to find comfort in another woman that soon? Where did his love for Surayya go? He's all talk and no action. From the beginning there's a pattern in his behaviour where he arranges something romantic or gifts Surayya with something she likes whenever he does a mistake.
Trying to protect her pregnancy is just a lame excuse. He met Begum even before they got to know about the risk in her pregnancy and he had all the time in the world to come out with it. But he chose not to. Also, Surayya had so much pressure from his mom and many other factors, yet he didn't try protecting her from them. He didn't tell about his past only because he was afraid. And he had the audacity to be mad at Surayya for not telling anything about that psychic stalker she had no relationship with. He also blamed Surayya for bringing Can into their lives and was so jealous of him. He has been hypocritical throughout the series and I'm starting to dislike him. I have no more respect for him.
Now he tries to play tye victim card and put the blame on Surayya. I wouldn't be surprised if he says he didn't want to stress her due to the pregnancy again. But if he really loved her and care fore her, he would have been honest with her at least once they reconciled after their huge fight. He should have told her the truth of his one night stand the moment they got back together after the Prague phase. All he did was hide the truth and act all lovey dovey with her. If Gozde hadn't threatened him and if there wasn't a chance of all of this coming out, Faruk would never have admitted his guilt. He expects everyone to praise and forgive him just because he told them as a last resort. That's not how it works.
Surayya was more hurt than Faruk back then. She had just lost her baby and on top of that had to find out her husband had been hiding his ex and a grown child from her including his whole family. It is enough to mess anyone's mind. Although Faruk also lost his baby, it can't be compared to a mother's pain. She was carrying the baby for months and postpartum depression is not felt by just mothers who has living babies. Still she chose to lose herself in working. She didn't go out clubbing and finding excuses to sleep with men. If only the roles were reversed, Faruk, together with his whole family, would have blamed Surayya, would have tarnished her image and never would have allowed her even in the city. But just because it was done by a man, she has to forgive and move on. Surayya was better off without Faruk in Prague, she was independent and living her life. At this point I think it's better for both her and the baby to get rid of this toxic man and family. They all need therapy and they definitely don't need a forgiving, understanding and easygoing person as Surayya.
Sorry about the long rant. I've been holding this inside for a long time and I had to get it off my system. 😂

I have so much to say about Fikret, Ipec, Dilara, Sanem, and Esra too. But that would become a novelette or something so I had better stop here. 😅

Yes, Yes, Yes! Sureyya is the victim, she’s been a loyal wife and truly loves her husband. .. I blame Faruk for what he put Sureyya through. I get it you want to work on your marriage, and the separation made Faruk realized his actions are the reason they’re in that situation. So, why 1. Sleep with another women if you soooo much love your wife? Oh wait bcuz he was hurt.. ahhh what about Sureyya, was she not hurt too by what Faruk and his family put her through as well, she didn’t sleep with anyone but her husband…. 2. Now that Faruk’ understands that honesty is very important in his marriage.. come clean from the beginning… instead of hiding your dirty secret. Again, who’s the victim.? If I were Sureyya , I would definitely, think twice about not making Faruk feel the pain she feels, not by cheating but distance herself and ask for time alone without him or his family. Although, Emir is back so it makes it challenging for her since it’s not Emir’s fault his dad is a cheater. Still for my mental state I will still want to be alone.
