Baseball is my favorite sport and I wish the game was on steam. Sometimes I wanna play in a different room. A portable baseball game for the ROG Ally, Legion Go or Steamdeck would be great. We have all other sports available on steam, WWE, NBA, NFL, Fifa. We need The Show on there cause its not looking so good on Switch. The frame rate
You can play the game via Xbox Game Pass for PC on handhelds
@@Marcthegeekthere isn’t a PC version of the show. But you can play it on a PC if you have pc gamepass ultimate using Xcloud streaming. I would actually recommend that, for what gamepass cost it is more than worth it if you played a ton of the show let alone all the games you get. And as far as performance as long as you have great internet this game is absolutely playable streaming. I’ve streamed via a direct connection, over wifi and in 5g when I was on my phone and I had 0 problems with latency, close to no image distortion, and the graphics and frame rate are greatly better than the Switch version. The biggest drawback with Xcloud is sometimes you might get stuck in a queue and have to wait, but I haven’t had any issues yet jumping into a game like I did when Starfield came out.
That's true, I forgot. Since I use Gamepass on handheld I keep forgetting that not every game is on PC as same as console.
I feel the same way about the OP. I buy the switch version and PlayStation version every year. I have gamepass ultimate also. But what I wouldn’t do to have this on steam or even Xbox PC. I have a steam deck, Legion Go and Ally Rog. That’s the real portable version I want. I Remember this game on the Vita. I think I remember watching your videos back then with the vita version. Any way the cloud is ok I also have the G cloud. But Imwait another year for a Pc version. Funny I had to look at the Op post cause I’m could have wrote it word for word.

@@nategreatgames78… It’s better than the Vita versions though, I have the switch and the vita and the vita has zero cut scenes, no celebrations, it plays decent on Vita but the switch is way superior
@@funkyflights they did that on purpose though. Ramon Russel once said they didn’t put all that stuff in the Vita version because of the portable nature of the console they figured people would want to play at a faster pace as portable consoles tend to be more pick up and play affairs.
@@nategreatgames78 … I was disappointed with that decision, love seeing celebrations and cut scenes on occasion, especially if you win the World Series … I can imagine cut scenes also would have been difficult memory wise for the Vita at the time … It’s amazing though how it looks on the Vita considering …
remember playing mlb the show on the psp in 2005 and had a blast. i dont have a ps5 or xbox and wish this game was on pc so i can play it on my rig or rog ally but i guess i will have to buy it on the nintendo switch. its on sale for $40 so i am going to buy it

3 years later, the game still lags like crazy during non gameplay scenes.
I'll get next year's game on Switch 2 & PC.
Never going to be released on PC. Too many cheaters.
@@tylerbean8265 No one cheats on Madden PC. They use an anti cheat system and I’ve never gotten cheated on that game. I played Madden 20 and 21 online and never had any issues. I’m sure they can do the same thing on MLB if they’re willing to pay for a solid anti cheat system.

I like the switch but I can't use the regular joycons.
I can’t play anything but TX vs AZ. And it wants to “update” but asks for an SD card. Says no room for update. Seems like a giant waste of money. Or a big money pit. If you wanna do more than bare minimum they gonna rob you blind.

That was the problem with the demo last year for the switch so didn’t buy it for switch. You’d be batting online and a pitch gets to the plate n lags bad. I have the extra money this year I may risk it then if it’s too bad for dynasty I’ll return it say it didn’t work right until I get the ps5 in April or May
Modded switch over clocked it plays great.

@@Cyko.. yes, the stock switch is very under clocked. A lot more power under that hood than people realize.

Nintendo is really sucking every single 💧 of life outta the switch it's over 7 years old now should definitely be releasing a new console in the fall 7 years is definitely over doing it with these internals.
Nintendo Switch can't do much more, can no longer handle current games, has aged quite a bit💀☠

the question I have is... why did they feel the need to include women in MLB playing with men ? Don't get me wrong I love women, but including them in men's pro sports ?? Like it would ever happen... they just trying to be politically correct here ? I mean a separate baseball league for women sounds great, much like the WNBA / NBA has. Or that movie - A League of Their Own would be fine... but this is a bit ridiculous.
It’s letting people dare to dream. I’ve hear a lot of people who have daughters and sisters and wives who love the sport of baseball and they like playing The Show, but they have always wanted to put themselves in the game instead of being forced to make their created player a guy. It’s a video game, video games are made to let us play around in worlds that are different than reality, no different than if you played something like Skyrim or any other RPG and created a female character. It’s a fantasy mode.
@@nategreatgames78 ok fine, I get that. But if you look at even recent history there are many women involved in MLB baseball in real life, so this goes beyond just fantasy. Rachel Balkovee is the first MLB minor league manager for the Florida Marlins. Kelsie Whitmore is the first woman to join a MLB partner league team and pitches for the team.. with GUYS. Same for Genevieve Beacom, first woman to play in the ABL in 2022. And there are more like this, so it doesn't seem it's slowing down at all.
I'm just saying, there's an obvious place for women in sports, but I don't believe it should be mixed with men. Like I said we don't see that in basketball, not the Olympics, and surely not American football. And there's an obvious physical disadvantage with women competing with men. Now in baseball it may be harder to see that... but I'm pretty sure most women, for one, aren't going to hit a 450 ft. homer to center field or pitch over 80 mph.

There is a reason why gatekeeping exist. You can dream but don’t use others’ existent platform to use as yours.
@@therealjaystone2344 yeah, and typically that reason is discrimination. It’s the reason a president had to make a law prohibiting the type of gate keeping that prohibited 92% of women from being college graduates. When that law was used to argue about equality in sports, then people conceded. The thing is in many cases it wasn’t because society didn’t think women could be any at sports, it was because they didn’t women to be in sports. So they were given equality, but they haven’t been given the kind of equity they need and most women are discouraged to even try or start something that they hope will be successful as men’s sports. The NBA has been one of the few trying their butts off in pro sports with the wnba. But men will never respect the physical abilities of women unless it’s sexualized. So unless it’s a lingerie baseball game, not enough people will buy it for it to make a profit.
@@TheActs2021it’s a game. And it’s not physical contact like wrestling or football so what’s the problem? If they do well it should be revered as something to celebrate and respect. You forget there are men now playing in women sports, which itself is an unfair advantage.
