In this vlog, you will watch how Indians celebrate Diwali outside India. It is not easy to stay away from your closed ones and make strangers your family in abroad.
This is the second time when I am out of India on Diwali and though this vlog, I really want to share my happiness with you guys.
In India, Diwali is now considered a national festival in terms of aesthetics, however, it is enjoyed by Hindus regardless of faith.
Diwali is an important festival for Hinduism.This festival is celebrated across the world as the festival of lights , where lights signify the victory of good over evil within every human being.
In many parts of India, it is the Ball of King Ramachandra in Ayodhya, after 14 years of exile in the forest. Sri Rama, one of Vishnu's avatars, defeated the evil incarnate in Ravana, who had kidnapped his wife Sitadevi. The people of Ayodhya congratulated Rama on lighting in rows of lamps (Deepak), thus giving him his name: Deepavali. This word, in due course, became Diwali in Hindi.
