- This is about as good as it gets in the Yamaha WaveRunner lineup with regards to performance. It’s the GP1800R SVHO. The “R” stands for racing, and the SVHO stands for Super Vortex High Output... the biggest and most powerful engine Yamaha makes.

Nice review. I ordered mine in December. Can’t wait!
I just picked it up yesterday! Finally!!!
Damn when did jet skis get so fancy?? Nice review Steve!
About the time the common flu did.
I missed it all too.
Quads and dirt bikes are probably correcting their chassis angle when going over jumps automatically with gyros and have airbags by now.... what else we miss??
I think I just saw a turbo four stroke fuel injected snowmobile with a heated seat and a 255 inch track, with reverse and gps. China and Canadas only option of an invasion....
The seadoos and Kawasaki pwcs sure look cool.
One question. Is this the ski used in the racing circuit?
Hello,
Looking to buy 2021 Yamaha GP1800R HO.
I heard bad opinions from people who already purchased Yamaha skis made in 2021
2021 Yamaha ski owners saying that skis built quality very poor compare to previous years.
I do believe in this because of the pandemic situation globally and shortage of employees.
I also believe that Yamaha skis for 2021 very poor quality because of high demand and rush in manufacturing them.
Could you please advise what to look for if will be considering to buy Yamaha 2021 gp1800r ho?
Many thanks in advance
I heard it was mostly miss aligned decals. There were a few that went out with the wrong piece but I forget what piece it was.
This is the biggest rubbish jet ski I’ve ever owned.
I’m talking about 2021 Yamaha 1800r
Had 3 months from new and luckily got rid of it with only 16 hours on clock
I have one but black and green you just tought me thing about my jetski i didn’t even know
Wonderful!
When u said not for beginners that’s funny this was my first jetski @19
Same my first Jetski @ 28 lol

Vanni fantastic! So happy to hear this enjoy.
How much HP?
Cabs and Steve I’ve been wanting to ask you I hope you do more of your old Kurt videos I hope you two are good buddies with the camera is off
I have a rxp300 2020. This yamaha is the real deal. My mates got one with stage 1. Its unbelievable class. Supercharged it is. Its got a lovely sound on it, it sounds like its got a turbo sound on it to like a car dumb valve
What about the FX ¿??????
If they would add Seadoos storage "cellphone waterproof compartment " by your stomache as MANY people have been asking for yearly, and the seadoo handle grips, rear cooler platform , a headlight, taillight, signals and navigation 360° Beacon antenna like on boats... it's going to happen, why not now!?! Be a leader...innovator.
Some easy bolt-ons and this thing will easily top 80mph!!!
Add in some Methanol Injection and a different tune to some bolt-ons and you can get to 90+ mph!
These things are FAST!
It will do 80 with just a map tune if you aren’t heavy and full on fuel.
@@streetfighteralpha9891 no, it will not!!!
@@charlieodom9107
I went back to watch where I saw the GP get 81 mph with just a tune. The one other thing he did was repitch the stock impeller. So it takes a little more work but no extra parts.
Green Hulk Garage’s video from 6 months ago if interested.
That thing holds more fuel than my Nissan Rogue😮
Captain... LOL It is a PWC.
LoL
It is always nice getting the opinion of a 60+ year old man in a long sleeve T shirt on the merits of a race type machine. It sounded like he was reading the brochure not testing a machine. I do not want to be a poopy pants but it would be nice to get a good honest review from somebody who has a good amount of history with race inspired machines.
How much$
12,500 to 15,000 plus trailer.
What is the purpose of the spout of water from the stern?
It let's you know the water pump is working. Other than that, no reason for it to shoot into the air.
It is for safety purposes, giving boats and others around you something else to catch their eye so they see you, especially when you are operating in the ocean with large swells.
Also helps you identify Yamaha skis from a distance, no other brand has this feature.
@@charlieodom9107 It is for safety purposes
@@dougnashz safety....hahahahahaha....hilarious!
If it were for safety, then why has no other manufacturers done the same?
The truth is: It's a Yamaha thing.
@@dougnashz That was my initial thought, but I don't think it holds water. How visible is a stream of water against the sea? I would think that a pennant on a pole would be more visible.
Lekker man lekker
Nice boat !
