I don’t like spending golds in the armaments but try to catchup the discount deals I get daily. For green select robots if you don’t have you can go with resource boost. In blue laser or +1 draw is good to start with for purple 12% resource boost is what I fancy and in orange 2400 resources/ atom bomb/30% overall damage boost. To summarize this go for the resource % boost on the start then if you get few laser % boost take it and in the later waves select the bombs(throwable) or Base HP. If you get more than one atom bombs it will land you on good score all day.

What city level are you? This is my favorite setup for city below city level 26
Wish you would have shown the other ways this starts. Sometimes they come from the right.
You can mirror the setup, it will work. Or you can restart until it starts from left.
do EMP towers slow enemies down more as they level up? or is it just increased damage and range?
