- I loved this tarp set-up in this fallen tree :D Unfortunately there were a lot of people around.. some coming closer to my shelter than I expected haha! So I was a little on-edge about being seen. But altogether a lovely freezing night in the woods, with some animal sounds too. I heard a Red Kite (I think?), Muntjac Deer and something else, which may or may not have been an angry badger, who knows

Don't you just love it when your trying to find a little piece and quiet and all of a sudden people start screaming and radios start blasting. Kind of takes the spirit out of camping 😂

Yehh It's constant round these parts 😄 also I have about 10 minutes an hour to film between airplanes haha. It tends to quieten down after sunset though :)

Accidentally found wildbeare from accidentally finding haze outdoors and they're now my favourite RUclipsrs, I enjoyed camping and the outdoor but I lost all motivation to do anything after falling into deep depressed haze and wildbeare saved my life and gave me the motivation to not just camp but get out in the wild

Yes I understand just what all of you mean about being in the woods I live in the country and my job has me working alone all day in the countryside and it is so nice to be able to just go out and hang a hammock and enjoy the woods for a while no matter if it's a couple hours or days. As for this lovely young lady Claire well I've been watching this channel for some time now and Claire you not once failed to add extra beauty to the countryside you have a good soul and it makes you almost glow 😊 thank you for being here 😊🤗
Your video put a lump in my throat, it reminded me of when my kids were little. We had a Birch tree in the garden, sadly it blew over in a particular vicious spring storm. The kids were in their element, they spent the whole Summer playing and camping in the tree and refused to let me get rid of it. Twenty years later, the kids have gone and the tree is a pile of bark, but I still have these great memories, thank you so much for reviving them.
The bit when someone stepped in a puddle made me laugh 😄 I think because of the way their voice was disguised plus no one enjoys wearing wet socks so it is super relatable

It's the best isn't it :) I missed it over winter. Yehh I know.. impossible to get away from paths round these parts. As soon as you feel a comfortable distance from one path you're on top of another one 😄 It's much better in the mountains

Hi Claire, I've been following your channel for about a couple of months now, really getting in to the wild camping scene and as a former soldier, it's great fun to sleep out with out being shot at!
We had 5 principles of camouflage when I was serving, it may have changed, but consider, 1: Shape, don't make any flat edges, 2: Shine, don't have anything shiny, reflecting sunlight, 3: Silhouette, don't have bright light behind you, 4: Sudden movement, the 'enemy' will catch a glimpse if you move to quickly, and finally 5:Sound, keep all noise to a minimum.
Besides beautiful, YOU are a strong and adventurous Lady😊 I love your videos ❤😃😃😃😃

I was stealth camping in a wood on a farm whilst on 5 day trek and I had muntjacs right outside my tent knocking the guylines on the tent and snapping branches. I got no sleep which didn't help the next day having to cover 20+ miles!

Hello wildbeare, great video , lovely camping place you found. Camping stealthily does make you a bit paranoid but you did well to cook your meal and have a light on without any hassle.

stealth camping is the best. i used a hammok for years and a small tarp when i hiked different sections of the AT. it was so much lighter than carring a tent. well now days these new tents are much lighter than 20 years ago haha

Thank you for your awesome videos. I will admit I use your videos as ASMR to help me drift off to sleep or when I'm trying to read or concentrate. You see I suffer from chronic tinnitus and your soothing voice provides a pleasant distraction to my ringing ears when I'm trying to concentrate or relax.

You are so lucky…there are no wild animals to disturb you really over there. Here in Colorado we have bears, moose, raccoons, mountain lions, coyotes, and any number of other critters that can and will invade your camp at any moment!! So lovely!
My godness 😅😂 😂That's sounds dangerous. Sounds like trying to camp in African wilderness . U need to watch out for most animals too. Wild dogs, hyenas, lions, rhino's 🦏, wild boar 🐗, hippopotamus, snakes, scorpion 🦂basically u need to keep your eyes 👀 open during the night and during the day. I have a healthy respect for wild life since I was born in Africa. 😂
Lucky? Colorado doesn't have wild jabberwockies to contend with like we have in England.
