Magic Kingdom is like the nexus. It’s not on the same level as the other 3 parks. So, there’s that… I could skip any other park, but I could never leave without seeing the castle. 😍
Agree I’m 48 years old n Magic Kingdom my number one park, but I love all of them. Epcot my number 2 then Hollywood n then animal kingdom
I feel the opposite. Magic kingdom is the park my family usually likes to skip . We’re only considering going this summer to magic kingdom because of tron. I have a 12 year old son so he’s not a fan of magic kingdom and neither is my husband.

I think I’m spoiled by Disneyland, MK just feels like a clone.
As an adult who went without kids, my rankings are Epcot first, Animal Kingdom 2nd, Magic Kingdom 3rd and Hollywood 4th. Epcot only beat out Animal Kingdom because if the SHOPPING. The other parks shops felt almost generic with a couple exceptions. While Epcot’s shops with their international flavors were amazing. I had some Henna done right after getting paper lanterns and moved on to the tea shop and the shop with our surnames and coat of arms. Shopped around the world in one day. ;)

I’ve heard some people say that they could skip AK, but it has so many must do experiences for me! The shows are top level, the food is incredible, the rides are a blast, and they have my favorite Starbucks location in all of Disney (Creature Comforts) Animal Kingdom just makes me so incredibly happy.

@@marksimons4108 I recently had my first ride through on guardians this past trip at the end of May. Absolutely loved it, but Spaceship Earth, Living With The Land and Journey Into Imagination With Figment hold a special place in my heart, and they have a certain charm that I absolutely love.
Having grown up in Orlando and going to MGM Studios/Hollywood Studios countless times, I absolutely have the fondest memories of The Great Movie Ride and it breaks my heart to know it's no longer there 😔

@@Teachmond that ride is gone and so are a bunch of the rest - Star Tours is completely different, i think Rock n Rollercoaster is done or on its way out, Tower of Terror is still there but my guess is that it’ll be the Guardians ride before you know it since that’s the only property Disney can use this side of the Mississippi - I mean things change, I get it, but it’s still sad cuz the old stuff was really great, nostalgia aside
@@weston407 I’m going next month and I’m only taking 2 days for the parks but I don’t know which parks to go to🤷♀️. I remember when I was there last I rode the Superman ride 2x. I had so much fun. Oh well.
@@Teachmond If you're cool with the Universal parks, Velocicoaster is the best roller coaster in the city - it's absolutely wild. I've heard Hagrid is great but I haven't been on that yet.
I've also heard Pandora at Animal Kingdom is great but I haven't been to AK since before the Avatar stuff opened.
Besides Velocicoaster at IoA, SeaWorld has the best roller coasters in Orlando 😊 The Manta Ray ride is incredible!
I love Animal Kingdom. Atmosphere, food, and my favorite ride (Flight of Passsage). Boggles my mind when people say they skip it!

Pro-tip: AK is the best park to go to on days you'd expect Disney World to be holistically busy. For instance, there were 2 years in a row where I was going to be there the week of July 4. We opted to go to AK on the actual 4th and it was the best idea. Because so many people want fireworks on the 4th, most people skip it. For a popular travel week, the crowd levels were quite reasonable both years.
I’m going with my 5 and 2 year olds and we’re visiting for only 2 days. Magic kingdom is an easy one but choosing between AK and Epcot is tough. Epcot has so much more Disney nostalgia and that feel but AK seems to but a great experience on its own I hear a ton of good reviews.
@@youngOG87 I personally don’t get the Disney feels at Epcot like I do at the other 3 parks and if it wasn’t for Guardians I’d be okay with skipping it! Everyone’s opinions are so different!
Since the Tower of Terror has a back story in, well, Hollywood, as the Hollywood Tower Hotel, a place where the fancy pants people used to stay, I'd say it's a fitting icon for the park.
Oh man...this video title invites some conflict haha. As a kid, my favorite park was Epcot because of Soarin', Test Track, and Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. Five years ago, it was Magic Kingdom with the addition of Happily Ever After. In a few months when I visit again, it may end up being Hollywood Studios because of Galaxy's Edge, Runaway Railway, and Toy Story Land.
Either way, I'm freaking stoked for each park. So much has changed in five years that it will feel like a whole new experience.

I agree with most of those rankings. I truly think that EPCOT is the one with the identity crisis. Out of all the parks it probably should have been the one that remained IP free... I have a huge problem with all the unused spaces in three out of the four parks also. Things get closed down and then they sit dormant for way too long...No ride/attraction should EVER shut down without having an immediate replacement planned. Crowds are only increasing-we CANNOT have LESS for them to do and disperse!
This IS Disney today, shut down service, yet RAISE costs all the time...

It is super close between all of them especially Hollywood Studios and Epcot. I love world showcase and guardians of the galaxy cosmic rewind at Epcot, but I love Rock’n rollercoaster, Rise of the resistance, smugglers run, and slinky dog dash

Just visited the parks for the first time ever. From a perspective with no nostalgia this is my ranking.

I’ve only been once so far but my rankings at the time(2013) were 1. MK 2. Epcot 3. HS 4. Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom just makes me feel the most like I’m in a Disney movie. Plus I loved the mountain rides, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates. Jungle Cruise was closed when I was there, but I’ve been on it twice at Disneyland and I love it.

Of course this is all a matter of opinion. My list from most favorite to least (and notice I didn’t say best to worst because there is no worst): Magic Kingdom and the other 3 are tied for second. 😂 They all have something I love.

I have to say, I enjoyed Animal Kingdom a *heck* of a lot more as a solo adult, as opposed to having gone with a group when I was younger. It went from my least favorite park, hands-down, to my most favorite.

Can’t lie those frie floats in Epcot is perfection also I cried after it’s tough to be a bug 😭
For the the best hotel, I would say it would be the Swan and Dolphin. Some of the best food like Kimono’s sushi. It’s walking distance from Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the boardwalk. it’s also a good price for what you get. If you stay in the Swan you have a view of some of the park’s best landmarks. Staying in the front and one side you’ll see the Tower of Terror. Staying in the other side you can see the Epcot golf ball. And staying in the back you have a view of the beautiful fountain and architecture of the Dolphin hotel.
Would love to see a Disneyland vs California Adventure video.
That’s one area to get a hopper and it’s like one huge park then. Takes no time at all to get between the two.
1.) Hollywood Studios best rides on the resort hands down
2.) EPCOT
3.) Animal Kingdom because it closes so early and Pandora only lights up for like 30 minutes before the park closes or sometimes when we spring forward you can’t see it at all… it lost the number 2 spot
4.) Magic Kingdom yeah this is just a spread out disneyland without any of the same magic
If I could only visit one park it’s always going to be magic kingdom because of the nostalgia so it will always be my number 1.
2. Animal kingdom for the rides/food/vibe
3. Hollywood studios for amazing rides
4. Epcot for the world showcase
Twilight Zone fans YES!! I am a huge Twilight Zone fan and I practiced the Rod Serling voice when I was a kid and THAT is how I was chosen by Disney Imagineering to narrate such a classic attraction!!

I did Epcot on my last trip for the first time. Out of the three we did(Hollywood studios, universal, and Epcot) it was my favorite. I loved all three, but this one had my favorite food, some excellent attractions(ratatouille, spaceship earth, guardians to name a few) and it was the easiest to navigate

EPCOT is our favorite park by far. It is the only reason we go to WDW - otherwise we go to Disneyland and CA. Just the ferry ride over to the Magic Kingdom puts me on edge and the design of Disney Studios is frustrating. Animal Kingdom is a beautiful park and we enjoy going. WDW has it on the hotels, golf, etc., but Disney West Coast is the original and still the best. Great video btw.
We live on the East Coast, but I also love Disneyland. It’s so much more manageable than WDW, with everything within walking distance. And CA Adventure is great.

Normally no one agrees with me so I like this ranking
Magic Kingdom - for little kids or people who love classic Disney characters. Older kids/adults may find it boring. Lack of alcohol options might drive some parents crazy.
Hollywood Studios - must for any Star Wars fan. The best for a mixed age group since it has little bit of everything with great rides. The Frozen sing a long and the Beauty and Beast show are great rest stops.
Animal Kingdom - Do you like animals or Avatar? That’s the answer. The Wilderness Explorers merit badges are a fantastic way to keep kids motivated to walk around the park.
EPCOT - Best for adults, science nerds, foodies. It also has the single best ride in all of Disney with Guardians of the Galaxy. Little kids may get bored.

I’ve been to Disney 26 times and I’m 26 now. While I was growing up magic kingdom! Now it’s a tie between magic and Epcot if I could add the countries to magic I’d be in heaven! 3. Hollywood Studios 4. Animal Kingdom I appreciate the atmosphere I just always felt there wasn’t enough rides to have a full day there.

Epcot has so much cultural food it is like tasting the world... stuffed by the end. Hollywood Studios exhibit many of the scenes we see on the big screen. The other two are very colorful and fun too but more of a travel in time.
I agree! Weenies are usually in the middle of the park, not off to one side. As beloved as the Mickey & Minnie ride entrance is, I'd like to se it go just for one that is not just makes since to the theme of the ride, but a large park icon Weenie!

I haven’t been to Disney in 15 years. I know a lot has changed since I was there. My fiancé and his family have never been to Disney and we decided to go together. Thank you for this video. I was debating which park to go to since a lot has changed in the last 15 years. I disagree about Hollywood Studios being the worst park though. Even though I haven’t been at Disney in years, my favorite memory of Disney is the Tower of Terror from Hollywood Studios.
Epcot’s star has risen greatly in my mind with the addition of Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. I really hope Disney keeps the virtual queue for it, even when Tron comes out. As a teen who used to hate Epcot, my top four go as follows:
1. Epcot
2. Hollywood
3. Animal
4. Magic
Magic is a great park, don’t get me wrong, but animal kingdom barely edges it out in my opinion. With the addition of Tron, this list is likely to change.

idk the original identity of MGM studios was a neat idea, but the park was so baron with not many exciting attractions to where you'd feel content after just like 4 or 5 hours, whereas now it feels more flushed out with a lot of individual immersive experiences that can definitely fill the whole day and A LOT better food than what it used to offer.

This list goes to show that what a park offers “statistically” doesn’t make it the best. If I had to chose which park to keep and have to tear down the others it would be Epcot all day!
For me and my kids (both boys) we rank them Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom. My wife has Magic kingdom first and Epcot last. Not sure what it is but Animal Kingdom is just so beautifully well done.

I agree that Epcot needs 2 days to explore. I went for the first time last week and I realized that I was going a lot between world showcase and the rides area. I felt like I didn’t get to accomplish much at the end of my day. My feet were so mad at me by the end of the day too. I wish I would have had 1 day to walk around showcase and 1 day to explore the ride area.

As somebody who is going to Disney World for the first time next April break on a field trip with my high school, I can’t wait to go! I went to the Disneyland Anaheim location in 2017 and I loved it, so I can’t even imagine what Disney World is gonna be like. Going with a bunch of my 16 year old friends is gonna be cool too I bet. I’m most excited to see Epcot because I love the theme!

EPCOT Deserves more recognition
Wow! I thought HS would be last for food. MK has better food for sure.
Haven't been to Disneyworld since 2013 so I'm sure things have changed but as a Teenager I'd have said Hollywood Studios. It had the thrill rides I liked and Muppets 3D never got old. As an Adult, its Epcot. Its literally the only park where you can actually relax and chill. Its not chaotic and crammed up like the other parks are. By far the best atmosphere and Epcot also has my vote for best restaurants.
I would say my favorite is Magic Kingdom then Epcot, Hollywood studios then Animal Kingdom

I LOVE the aesthetic of the Hollywood Studios "glam classic hollywood" area. It is my favorite aesthetic of all the parks. BUT I agree 100% that this park is WASTED SPACE in a lot of areas. They have to do something with that sad courtyard area where the animator studios and Little Mermaid show was. Spirit Halloween is going to move in there!
Food-- I agree 100%. Except for you were generous for MK! The only thing I will happily eat here is a cinnamon roll from Gaston's. The food at Pecos Bill is GHASTLY. I have tried through the years-- mostly out of hunger and proximity-- to give Pecos a chance. I've yet to eat something edible there. It could be so much better.
I just wish one of these parks would do something Wall-E themed. That would make such a great ride!

Great video! My favorite dining is Dine-In Sci Fi Theater at HS and the best show, by FAR is The Festival of the Lion King - phenomenal show. I REALLY miss Illuminations at Epcot. We wrapped up many an evening with that phenomenal show.
I will miss Illuminations forever. High tech, beautiful music, and no IP. Nothing else is like it.
When I first went to Epcot during the food festival, I was disappointed with the food selection for each country. Now, I understand that Disney is trying to play it safe.
My Personal Ranking for the 4 theme parks hasn't really changed over the years, for me it's still
1 Magic Kingdom
2 Epcot
3 Hollywood Studios
4 Downtown Disney/Disney Springs (Yes I'm Counting This as a Theme Park)
5 Animal Kingdom
For me it’s Epcot and magic kingdom.
I was so surprised Hollywood Studios was number one in rides. As someone who does not like thrill rides, all I can really ride at the park is Toy Story Mania and Mickey's Runaway Railroad. It doesn't have enough of a balance to be number one for me.
The only real thrill rides are Aerosmith and Tower of Terror?

My personal favorites are EPCOT and Animal Kingdom, purely due to the fact that my two main interests are culture and nature....but let's be real, there's magic to be found in all the parks.

I think this is my favorite DFB video to date. You made excellent cases for each category and ranking.
I’ve never been to Disney before, but I’m going in July 2023 it was one of my Christmas presents and I’m VERY EXCITED!! But, we’re not going to animal kingdom bc my mom said she heard if it’s ur first time it’s better to skip it if u don’t have enough time, we’re spending 4 days there and a 5th day for my mom’s 41st birthday at a beach called coco beach or something and we’re going to the beach and a dolphin cruise and I’m very excited for Disneyworld! I would rank them:
1. Magic Kingdom
2. Hollywood Studios
3. EPCOT
4. Animal Kingdom
Epcot is my favorite because I love food and Epcot has decent food. I also get sick on most rides so even though I love them they are not a priority. But my favorite ride is Tower of terror, and I like the Indiana Jones show

We just got back from Disney World. Having visited parks all over the nation, the Disney World parks weren't among our favorites. Even in Orlando, we enjoyed the Universal parks over the Disney parks. Animal Kingdom was our favorite among the parks.
Although MK is iconic, the park is really based solely off of nostalgia and family vibes. Goin in last January just my friend and I...really felt so bored at their. If I'd go based off of who I went with on my previous trip, same budget and all. Ranking would go Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom.
Everyone’s preference is different and all the parks are epic, but Animal kingdom is my last place. Like…..veery very last place lol

I'd go Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and idk which between animal kingdom and hollywood studios for 3rd vs 4th. I love them all though. Animal kingdom needs more attractions outside of the nature/animal trails. Hollywood studios needs central theming, magic kingdom needs some updating in some areas but overall great, and epcot needs construction to be finished and to do some updating on rides that feel "outdated/idk what to call it" like journey into imagination.

nahhh EPCOT is the number one, MK is actually the one me and my frends visit the least. i think most of the DFB vlogs are about Epcot .. the list by DFB what park has the most parades. thats it. other than that don't make sense. now i have serious doubts about all their other, volgs, rankings, ect.

1. magic kingdom / epcot (hard for me to choose, mk has more but i just love epcot)
2. hollywood studios (decent park, some rides here i like)
3. animal kingdom (might be controversial, but i skip ak when im at disney. havent been since before avatar was there but i dont think that saves it for me lol)
