After all the blood, skin, and clothing the briars claimed, it had to feel good munching those things down! Good job, Robert, for sharpening those teeth. Awesome job, as usual, Chris for such straight paths. That's a talent all on its own. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Chris for someone working off the eye again you strike again with a fantastic job Geoff and the other property owners should be very happy with what you done in this brush and wet ground, the impossible you can do at once miracles tack a little longer thanks for another great video, I look forward to so much more.
Impressive bit of work here!! Agree, it’s easy to get off but you did a remarkable job holding that straight line!! That mulcher is something in that brush!
That's a really effective setup Chris that drum mulcher on your skid steer is just brutal on bush. You must love all this working close to home stuff. 👌
Keep working hard young man. Your hard work will pay off. Believe me. I still rate you a 5 on RUclips. Enjoy your video. Being a 100% combat disabled Vietnam veteran injured in that crazy war. I don’t have much to look forward to these days. I look forward to your videos every day and disappointed when I don’t see one. Proud of you son.
Thank you for your service, sir, and I'm sorry about your disability. I agree with Chris, but I would give him a 10 out of 5 he is the best, and I would love to have a video every day, but Chris does his best for us followers. I know watching him really saved me. I have cancer, and I have really needed his videos for the first couple of years, but I have come to terms with it. But I sure do enjoy his videos.
A farmer friend once said to me that as he was doing something similar as you are, that he set way-points and used GPS to cut a straight line. Apparently worked well for him. Food for though. If this has already been mentioned or if you mentioned it and I missed it, Apologies. Love the new Volvo 350. Thank you for the video. Cheers
I did a lot of mulching on my property after I watched a really good video by a guy who maintained that by mulching rather than spraying, eventually the native grass will emerge through and suffocate the scrub, it did it for 3 years in some areas I thought I would never succeed but eventually I won and the mulch added so much to the soil composition it never needed any support. That mulched is far better than the one I had and is very impressive. Sadly, we don’t seem to have the amount of choices you guys in the states do. I used to fill a ballon with Nitrogen and tie it down so it was visible to cut to, obviously only worked on calm to light breeze days
I've never gotten to see one of those in use. That did an amazing job! I bet it smelled good when ripping through those pines. Thanks for showing us this!
Agree, this is the mulcher to get. I've seen Fecon and others but this one blows them all away. Davin at the @idigit4 channel has the same TMC Cancela head for about a year and used the heck out of it. It is almost unbelievable what this head can do. On Davin's ASV, he runs it at a higher RPM I think. But that's part of why it works so well.
NICE work! You can use a GPS to deadhead through thick scrub with a mulcher like that and stay right on a property line. A compass will also work, but it's not as precise.
Finally someone that can run a mulcher properly. I have watched several other mulching videos and they always have too much wasted motion. Dude is legit operator no bs.
stupid question but couldnt you get a couple airtags /tracking beacons and put one at your starting point and one at your end point and then track it with your/ a tablet /phone as you mulched it/traveled keeping a perfect straight line supposedly...just a thought
Chris make with the Mulcher trough the Brushwood Lines to the Plot of Land recognizablr to be. This Work go quick is Surroundings friendly. Good Idea. And a Happy Whitsunids. 🌺
Chris, Upstate Brush Control called. They want you back to work tomorrow 😂😂. I believe you get better every time you get the mulcher out and put it to work. Is there anything you can't operate efficiently? I don't think anything stumps you from one machine to another. I hope the owners are pleased with your work I would be.
After reviewing your videos , and alot of them from your beginnings. No tolerance for inefficiency or mud Both walk hand in hand with the other. Like beer and women. Ha ! Your on top of this RUclips no doubt now. Many productive years are deserved. Thanks for your pro pro productive business direction
Noticed in the other videos you've used this mulcher that it seems like it really mulches everything much better than any other of the brands I have seen people using here on RUclips. Definitely looks like a wise investment if you're into large scale mulching.
Davin on the idigit4 channel has had this same TMC Cancela head on his ASV120 for about a year. Plenty of mulching videos there. And yeah, this thing IS the best one I've seen, out of Fecon and tons of others. TMC Cancela has nailed it. That said, it greatly benefits from the right CTL. The ASVs are built for it and Chris's TL12 High Flow is perfect for it. It might not work as well on a machine without the flow.
I wonder what would happen if you keep driving forward slowly; would it stall or just keep eat'n? I've seen Andrew's mulching and it was impressive, but this one looks like it tops it. What an awesome accessory!!
I hope you checked the window seals on the skid steer because youll likely run into bees in that mess. I did it in a windowless steer and I got stung so bad because you can't run it backwards without hitting something.😊
Hard to chase liners (stakes) we used to cut Seismic lines with a pair of D5Hs in the Canadian Rockys with just a set of 3 liners we called them. We would cut 5-15 KMs with them and be out 100 feet if that.. Took years to do accurately. Especially over creeks and slopes. Good on ya
An auto leveling laser on a telescoping pole at night works great for this. Less than $75 on amazon for decent setup. I've done the same when leveling/grading ground at night, it works wonders.
I love the mulcher.. no wait, I love the skid steer.. no wait, I love the buckets with thumbs.. no wait, I love the excavators.. oh hell, guess I like it all 🤷♂️
Those mulchers do a.great job if the regrowth is managed. Like you said before nothing beats digging them out. :). Seems like the regrowth comes back twice as thick as it was.
It seems like you've improved a lot using this equipment, but I have a feeling you go back a lot when blade acceleration drops. You could go deeper and then come back, touching up the branches that remain behind, or even scraping them instead of grinding them.
That mulcher was a very good investment. Property line disputes are the worst. I sure hope Geoff triple checked he has a good survey of his property. Chris, what became of your Cat D7F/G from C&C?
Hi Chris I am glad to see You back on Jeff"s job again as I was commenting on his page just a few days ago that he would have to give you more work and a pay rise so that he could pay for the new 350, oh and by the way has he covered the last 220 yet ? LOL.
Awesome, a Sunday evening Letsdig18 episode of Chris clearing more of the Bealy Good property getting it ready to be shown to buyers that eventually Chris will be getting it ready to be built on. That swampy area looks like a perfect location for a pond build series.
If you were to up root and push over a tree could these mulcher heads grind the whole tree (root ball, stump, and the rest of the tree). I see guys that prep a structural area with a mulch head with trees still standing and then come back after to remove stumps. Just curious. Thanks!
Most surveyors won't actually wade out in the beaver swamp and set a pin. They will set an offset to it up on the dry ground referencing the fictictious pin.
It does Mulch pretty dang good Chris !! Looks like it did the first trail pretty fast !! Let her eat !! lololol... Great as always Chris !!Have a Great Sunday, And Evening, And, On too the Next !!
Disc mulcher produce different end material than drum mulchers. Based on the customers expectations either could be used. If a disc mulcher is an option I would go with Rut manufacturing.
@@letsdig18 It seems like land owners and contractors should have something better to me . Even the surveyors should too . Some app that shows exactly where lines are on a phone Chris.
There are numerous apps available for Android and Apple phones that use GPS to do surveying. Some are really sophisticated with property lines available for the entire country and detailed terrain overlays as well. Most are fairly cheap and far superior to using a compass or your eye.
Are there any current solutions for giving you a visual on a property line in thick brush like this? I wonder if a business could be made by using a large agricultural drone and putting like a paint dripping line on it. Fly the drone along the GPS mapped property lines and just lay down a painted line of bright colored paint. Would make it easy for someone on the ground to see the paint line. 🤔
Set your compass on your phone and keep the line. That’s what did on my excavator doing fence lines and trenches. Bravo from Victoria Australia
After all the blood, skin, and clothing the briars claimed, it had to feel good munching those things down! Good job, Robert, for sharpening those teeth. Awesome job, as usual, Chris for such straight paths. That's a talent all on its own. Thanks for sharing.
Chris you can use Google maps and pin an A-B line and use GPS on your phone as a tracker to extend.off the line.
That is definitely the machine for clearing/cleaning that property. Excellent work!
Robert did a very good job sharpening the teeth on the mulcher
Robert is Chris's MBTS (Man Behind The Scenes)
He might need to have another go at them after this though...
A fine job finding your way through that thicket! That mulcher was the right tool for this endeavor! Best wishes.
That forestry head is definitely the meal ticket! Be interesting to see some drone footage with the trail cut in.
You and the mulcher have done a fantastic job, everything you do is top notch
Hi Chris for someone working off the eye again you strike again with a fantastic job Geoff and the other property owners should be very happy with what you done in this brush and wet ground, the impossible you can do at once miracles tack a little longer thanks for another great video, I look forward to so much more.
That mulcher is a magician trees and bushes are literally disappearing
Impressive bit of work here!! Agree, it’s easy to get off but you did a remarkable job holding that straight line!! That mulcher is something in that brush!
Yeah, it sure as heck produces a nice mulch path! Very satisfying to see.

Now to stay on top of it with regular Bush Hogging, it will stay nice.😊 Good work Chris.
Great job, right tool for this job, a well balanced line of equipment for what you need
When you pull right up to the uncut trees it looks like an insurmountable task but then, buuurrrttt, there’s yer trail. Way cool!
The mulcher is a BEAST!
NICE work! You can use a GPS to deadhead through thick scrub with a mulcher like that and stay right on a property line. A compass will also work, but it's not as precise.
The swamp looks like a great place for a pond!
There is a pond back there. :) That was what Bealy Good was mulching to.
Love that Mulching machine Very good job .
That High Flow really makes a difference in maintaining cutter head rpm…😄😄
Turned on Letsdig18 and got Upstate Brush control, pretty cool
Seems like a good gps location app would help you find and follow your lines.
Great mulcher, does a good job. Really like the Takeuchi TL 12 ...great skid steer.
A man can derive a lot of please from watching sweet gum trees ground to mulch 👍
😂😂
Absolutely one of the worst trees.
Only to.reappear in several months. :)
As can a woman. LOL I just had a lot of gum trees mulched on my property, and it looks so much better!
That mulcher is savage. I'll bet that fun as hell. Be safe and enjoy

Hi mate well done
Not sure but could you use the drone gps technology to hover above your intended path while mulching?
Better spray after cutting. Those SGs and briars will be back next year.
If the back corner has a surveyors stake, couldn't you have flown your drone over top of it an get a site line that way?
That mulcher was a very good investment. Property line disputes are the worst. I sure hope Geoff triple checked he has a good survey of his property. Chris, what became of your Cat D7F/G from C&C?
It's in his storage barn at the farm.
I wish he would take it out and use it. It's a beautiful machine and should be out in the fields working so all of us can enjoy watching it.
@@Blazer02LS Ah yes, thanks, I just saw it in his earlier barn cleaning video.👍
Some of the most fun I've had in a skid steer was with a mulcher.

Amazing machine how it devours everything.
Hello. Today is my first time on your videos. Good luck😅. That is a great piece of equipment 😅😅.
Chris, could you have a laser beam in the right direction and a little reflector disc in the cab to guide you. It would take the guess work out of it.
That thing is terrifying 😮
Looking like more zeros are getting added to that Bealy Good check.
Of course it's gotta be done so Geoff can flip the property and write that check.
Awesome, a Sunday evening Letsdig18 episode of Chris clearing more of the Bealy Good property getting it ready to be shown to buyers that eventually Chris will be getting it ready to be built on.

Can you program the drone to follow the property line and have it guide you as you go ??
It is far easier just to use a GPS surveying / orienteering app for your phone or something like a Garmin handheld GPS.
@@snappingbear Thanks
I absolutely love these machines. They can do a lot of work

Your endings are epic.
That machine, absolutely loves to eat the scenery...
That whirlygig is fixin to make a ruckus.
Don’t you have gps on the skid steer yet- it’s gotta be easier than string and tape measures….
That has got to be so much fun!!!
How about setting a GPS unit on top of your machine to locate and following a property boundary line?
You gotta love those bryers. I think iwould like one of those mulchers?
Ever thought of a GPS for the mulcher? Would make easy work staying on the property line?
Nice job on that first property line , must be nice to see it now ! Looked like took out a couple nice white pines 😮 .
Chris you should check out the Diamond Forestry disc mulcher
Disc mulcher produce different end material than drum mulchers. Based on the customers expectations either could be used. If a disc mulcher is an option I would go with Rut manufacturing.
Looks straight to me 😅
Nice job mulching 👍🏻🇺🇲
I don’t think Chris has ever worked a day in his life, he has too much fun playing with his big boy toys.
Nice high way threw there much better but Mr B tried hard but he didn’t have the right machine 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
Chris is there a app you can use on your cell to track property lines ? Satellite technology should be available for sites like this ?
Nope just pulling a string off 2 survey stakes in the field

Be careful you don`t get into where Bealy Kubota got stuck. Nice clearing.
