Thank you so much!! I really needed this because my birds were feeding the baby’s, when my mom heared them screaming, she came to check, when she did, she saw the mom hitting the bird and sucking the blood 😢. I’m so glad! I needed this video for the last moment❤❤
Awwww so cute😍🥰 My dad used to have an aviary and I was hand feeding baby budgies on a daily basis and I remembered that I really loved the smell they had because of the formula they eat lol
I love birds but I always wish I can give them the best life possible, But ur videos has provided me many useful informations about budgies and it inspired me to get one.
Have been handfeeding them. You can begin giving seeds after 1.2 months gently in very small portions in a feeder (they should learn to eat on their own), but continue giving the formula but in smaller amounts as you increase the seed amount to make your budgie interested and start eating seeds. After you see them eating seeds on daily basis everytime, stop giving formula and by 1.5 months they shall start eating normally like an adult
@@Birbzz thanks you helped me too because I have 2 baby’s and I need to know all the information I can, also is it good to start by giving them sprouts so they learn how to crack seeds easily then transition onto seeds
Hallo, here Lisbon, thank your video is great. I think to start feeding my budgie with 20 days ( I can't do earlier) it's ok? He will still accept the new way of feeding?
And I want to add for chicks owners that if your budgie making a huge mess at first when you only start the feeding it is normal and it takes a few days till they eat normally and don't spill on themselves
Hey Salvador, I have one question. I move things around in my two budgies cage a lot. But they only sit on the perch at the top of their cage. They dont move and just stare at each other and don't even chirp. I don't know why they don't interact with anything much.
hi- so I own a lot of parakeets, and mine went through the same thing. If they’re new- I’d leave the cage alone and don’t move anything unless truly needed. Id put some millet in there and have them be together to bond.
I have one week to 4 day old baby budgies. The original parents drowned the first born chick, so I removed the remaining eggs to a broody hen that had laid unfertilized eggs (She does not have a mate). She has raised the babies up until now but I feel she is stressed and I want to intervene. What is the best way in doing it? Pull the two oldest chicks and let her take care of the remaining two or pull all four?
Yes, but when you use a spoon I find the formula to cool down faster and then they end up eating a room temperature formula, but the syringe keeps it warm
@@juliatony9326 Yes, I know, and when I use syringe, I kept it inside a glass with hot water. I've only handbred my lovebirds with spoon when it wasn't cold. Where I live, it's almost always hot
I want to have a baby budgie. Is it too difficult to feed them? I also wanna ask if they are getting used to my presence through this so tha i dont have to tame them when they grow up
My budgies beak is stuck on the up position and she can’t eat seeds. I tried some soft food but she doesn’t seem to want it but she’s hungry and can’t eat. I’m curious if I can force it down?
Please help! I have to budgies that are 3 weeks old but the momma is not feeding them enough. I wanted to try to hand feed them but they refuse to eat! What do i need to do?

Nothing more satisfying than feeding a baby birb and watching it grow to adult and taming them at the same time and having a lifelong friend 😙🐣🐥🐦🐤
quite specific
The spelling of bird is wrong
It's BIRD
@@reenawellington710 Birb is a playful way to refer to birds, mostly used for cute and funny parrots

Hi mate. I had a question. My budgies nails or the claw is very sharp. Is there a way to safely trim it?
Hey, It's best not to trim it by yourself, many things can go wrong, try to sand the nails or take it to a vet do trim it.

I have a budgie who doesn't even have that much feathers, can I feed it seeds and fruits only?
I’m working 9 hours 5 nights per week. Sometimes 6 nights. Do I still need to feed the baby budgie at night time or is it ok to feed it on days time?
When do they start hard food?
What are the ingredients for that?
