Never gets old. I still love this album so much. One of the happiest days of my life when I discovered this band. 🤟🏻😁 "what will they say, when they see what we have done, just to be free?"
heh, and here it is, a bit over 2 years since I first liked your comment. Was talking to my bro in law, about this dude, and of course Brigitte Kingsley and her films. He had never heard of any of them.
@@stephensmith6660 Oh wow! I hadn't even realized JH had pinned my comment. I'm all giddy. 😁 Thanks for coming back and enlightening me! I still love this band/album so much. It's always on my phone with me. As well as Stolen Babies, Diablo Swing Orchestra, The Vincent Black Shadow, and of course, my own personal gawd, Devin Townsend's entire musical catalog, though I prefer his live stuff 🤘🏻😉 Highly recommended you dig into Devy if you're not familiar yet. I can give you some tracks to check out depending on your preferred musical tastes. I've always been more of a metal head, but I love and appreciate anything with a unique soul and lots of heart in it.
@@xMRxZEROx That is awesome brother, I came from a strong Jazz / Swing background, myself, But just loved his work. Decided to revisit, and now I have found a few others, Like Emilie Autumn, her work on Opheliac is amazing (esp. for the Hamlet lover) , and the like. Please d to meet you btw. And yeah, you have good taste in music . Hell, a few of those, I'm gonna look up here in a moment. So thanks.
@@stephensmith6660 Absolutely! If you want any recommendations let me know. I can probably find a few other bands. If you're into swing/jazz I suggest you check out Swingrowers. Start with their tracks Midnight and Baby Lone. But their entire Remote album is genius. Love playing it when I'm a happy and fun mood. Great dance music. Caravan Palace and Dirty Honkers are of a similar vein too.
I rediscovered this song today when my boss (Yale) was showing us some music very close to him... I can't believe this song (and band) has been on my playlist for so long, and it's still just as relevant
Heard this song (and you) for the first time this morning on 88.3 out of Conestoga College. Fantastic track. I've worked my way now through the album and I'm really impressed. You remind me a bit of Dead Can Dance or Delirium, with goth/punk influences.
It's not silly at all. Your are supporting us both ways! However, going to johnnyhollow.com and buying physical media is infinitely more helpful. Spotify is great though, it's connected us to an audience that continues to grow. It's really not an either / or situation... I hope that helps. ~ Vincent

Will someone come... save us from... this storyline of mass destruction?
The world whispers... that.. Their name.... is Johnny Hollow. :)
Called 2020
If 2020 had a soundtrack, this would be it
Agreed...... Q . WWG1WGA. (Where we go one we go all)
Whole album?

Great song!
Don't despair ya'll, we'll work ourselves out of this shitstorm, but stand fast!
this is giving me strange nostalgia

One of the best songs I ever heard.
Hands down, one of my favorite songs. I hum this all the time

This song, I find it to be somewhat comforting
It’s rather nice
Thank you

High praise. Thank you Sean! I also went to Conestoga... it's nice to hear that the radio station is playing our music. ~V
Sometimes, when I watch the news, this song pops into my head.
Still waiting for Super Hero Intervention (2024). So sick of the leaders telling lies.
Ooh, great song! 💜
Evergreen.
I miss Johnny Hollow!! Are you working on any new music?
Have you checked out our latest EP "The Old Gods of New Berlin"?
@@johnnyhollowmusic Just gonna check it out too
Just a question. Sorry if it's silly. Will you make money if I have you on Spotify, or would it be better to purchase physical media?

Johnny Hollow being a big musical inspiration and influence, love them 💜✨
This deserved at least 1000 x more views
May I use this as background music in a FPV video?
Works well at 1.5x playback speed too.
Would suit an anime at this pace.
It does. The Diablo 2 "Tristram theme" works at 1.5x as well.
@@te9591 You've got a point! ruclips.net/video/Q2evIg-aYw8/видео.html

Awesome song! Would love to collaborate if you guys are interested. =)
How many other people are here because Brandon Sanderson had this song on his playlist for Rhythm of War?
