I don't watch a lot of RUclips or music videos but I do find it odd (and really annoying) that there are so many comments, criticisms, and critiques about her drumming. WTF!?! Just because she's a woman playing drums you feel the need to share you 'insight' on her drumming style, the way she holds her sticks... - get with it people, this is 2015. I don't care who's playing what as long as it sounds this good. Enjoy the music...

Everyone who's so focused on the drummer's form and technique is totally missing the fact that she's locked tight with guitarist perfectly. This is some of the tightest drumming I've heard in a live setting and I love it. Flash and form aren't everything
My wife and I saw them live a couple of years ago. C.C. Was killing it on the drums while being 8-9 months pregnant at the time. It was a great show.

+Cam From what I understand the way she plays and holds the sticks is completely wrong, but she doesn't seem to care and frankly neither do I!
Honestly her drumming is extremely mediocre, but whatever it works with the music.
Yeah, the drumming is... different, to say the least. I guess it works for the song, which is all that matters, but it almost looks like she's squeezing the sticks as hard as she can. Very odd.
Just got the album on iTunes she also has a great voice.

At first I didn't like this song because I was pissed at the comments I was reading dissing The White Stripes. After I posted a stupid comment about these guys not being worth the sweat off Jack White's balls, Jam In The Van posed the question of how much a pint of JW's Ball Sweat is actually worth. After pondering that question, I decided to delete my stupid comment and actually listen to this song with an open mind. It sounds pretty damned awesome. I made the mistake of comparing it to something else the first time I listened. I must conclude that it wasn't fair of me to compare Little Hurricane to anyone else. Good music is good music, period. Thanks Jam In The Van!

That is a life changing realization, dude!! It was two years ago, do you still remember? Do not let it slip away and pass you by. I almost missed the Stripes completely due to the black, white and red get up, brother and sister but really husband and wife thing. It was too gimmicky and I never listened to any of their music, unless it was something playing on the radio in somebody else's car or wherever, until 2007. I purchased Get Behind Me Satan in a used CD/Record shop, listened to it 3 times that day, and owned everything Jack White had ever touched within 48 hours. Can you imagine the tragedy it would have been if I lived the rest of my life void of Jack White?!? I hope, two years down the road, you still have that open mind and even more so, the willingness to come forward, humbly, and admit a misjudgement. "And whatever you feed me, I'll feed you right back. But it will do no good..."

Love their sound! To the drummer critics: Most people judge the sound of music by tone & timing and to my ears it's all good. She loves what she's doing (who cares how she holds her sticks) if she wants to play drums upside down swinging from a chandelier blindfolded then good on her. Go have a moan about commercialized pop instead.
Her hi hat timing sounded off, but maybe that's what they were going for.
Great comment. I couldn’t agree more. If you’re critical of her playing….then tell us…where is her timing “off” or where is she not playing in a way that supports the groove of the song?. Her drumming is spot on for this duo.
