This video fascinated me. Great job at holding my attention. I now have much food for thought. It’s a frightening thing to hear about banned books. It should never be.
If you want to understand how it is happening to us and how it happened to the Soviets and Nazi’s, I highly recommend you read “The Psychology of Totalitarianism “ by Mattias Desmet. It is very illuminating to what is happening in the world today.
It is sad, but in USSR in the generation of 60s, there were “samizdat” - illegally printed copies of banned literature - and if you were caught with the copies of it you could lose your job or even imprisoned. You can read bigraphies and memoirs of people of that generation, Ulitskaya for example
It's good that you share this part of Soviet history with people in the English-speaking world. Your video is well done.
Thank you, my friend, try my best

Zamyatin wrote his novel in 1920s, "Anthem" -- after 1930. )))
It's happening here now
