Crazy how DSJ uses his vert in his jumpshot as well, he can out-jump the defender while shooting the ball so he can release the ball when the defender is dropping down while he is still hanging. He has a lot of upside!

The best shooters don’t do this, they create space and use a quick pop off the ground to get the shot off fast, people who normally jump extra high on they jumpers usuallly brick except like Ray Allen
@@jaimemorales3566 You kind of kill your own argument by mentioning Ray Allen. There are legs and wrists shooters, but using ur athletic ability to get a shot off is a SKILL. So when he steps back but still needs space to get it off (since he is a shorter scorer) he uses his vertical ability to wait his defender to drop lower.
Thing about dsj is that even in his early highschool years his handles has been super tight and effective. Skills like that always translate at the next level

He’ll end up starting. On defense he doesn’t go underneath screens, and everybody knows his J is suspect.
DSJ is all flash, and turnovers. I’m surprised that he hasn’t taken the next leap, because he has all of the tools. If nothing else his court vision should have improved by now. I think that his shooting will get better once his athleticism declines.
