- With national Republicans and their Fox News backers freaking out over the political fallout from Arizona's archaic abortion ban, local Democratic legislators called their bluff by offering a repeal of the 1864 law, only to have state Republicans block the effort and cement their responsibility for the policy. Rep. Pramila Jayapal, chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, talks with Alex Wagner about how Democrats intend to show Republicans the true meaning of "will of the people."

Does anyone know the ratio of Republican/Democrats, or male/female in the Arizona s. court? We need to reform all the courts. No more lifetime appointments. No bribes. Must recuse yourself if there is a conflict of interest, keep religion out of politics, etc.
Or to prosecute them when they openly commit crimes, such as perjury. For that matter, lying to congress is also a crime unto itself, so that's at least two crimes that they committed by lying under oath about how they wouldn't overturn Roe vs. Wade and then doing it anyway. That doesn't even touch on the obvious bribery/corruption crimes of Clarence Thomas.

We used to have an animal control agency here that was actually pretty good about looking after critters. Spay & neuter programs, community cats - they were good about humanely relocating raccoons & possums & whatnot, injured wildlife got taken care of & released if possible, etc.

The federal law that protects abortion rights and protects the privacy of the public should be a voting bill that is on the federal ballot and the Supreme Court should be mandated to approve any decision that is made by popular vote by the people! The Supreme Court has the responsibility to make its decisions and laws that govern the public by only changing the established law if the people decide that they want the decision to be removed or altered to suit the social interests! The vote should also be a majority vote deciding the outcome for federal law that can’t be overruled by the court itself without a new vote by the people!
