When I watch your videos I get inspired to clean my house. Today I accomplished vacuuming my house and mopping the kitchen. Started laundry and deep cleaned my bathroom. All before 10am.

We are a family of 5 and a 30 gallon trash can is a must! I have two teens and a 4 year old, a regular trash can (15 gallon) fills up so quick. I was changing the trash bag every day if not twice a day and that’s even with us recycling like madmen. The 30 gallon just seems to last us so much longer. I love watching you clean! So inspiring! Now time to tackle my messy house! ❤️

This is a little difficult to explain but a trick for getting duvet covers back on is to turn the covers inside out. I usually stand on the bench at the end of the bed (because I'm 5'1"), put my arms inside the duvet cover to the corners. Then I grab the corners of the duvet cover with the cover still over my hands and arms and let the cover fall down over the duvet insert. It usually falls all the way to the bottom with just a little wiggling and shaking (this is where the height really helps). Then all you have to do is close the end and there's no extra stuffing or bunching. Hope this made some sense!

I had issues with my comforter insert sliding down so I had my mom (I can’t sew) add some loops to the edges of it for the ties. Made a world of difference! You could easily sew on some hair ties to the corners or some ribbons and make your own loops.

Hi Carissa, as always awesome cleaning video. Are inspiring for sure, I say nevermind those that have contrary things to say. Life is what it is for everyone individually, and we all make our way a thousand times a day just like that, individually. Your videos are a betterment of the home cleaning process which we all know is a constant, and everyone has their way of doing it. You break it down and simplify it and anyone can either straight up do it your way or incorporate into their own routine so I dont know what some peoples problems are lol. I double chop my pillows so there for the chop/don't chop peeps lol! Do your thing we love your methods as is! Have a great week!

I purchased those laundry baskets because I saw them here on your channel. I too love them! I’ve never had a place to put my laundry baskets except the bedroom floor or keep them in the laundry room which is not convenient. With these I can just collapse them and put them behind a cabinet in our bedroom which you can’t see. Love them!

So that when u changing the bags u already have another one under..and u don't have to keep getting a new bag from downstairs ir where it is..always replace with another one when changing it:)

My duvet insert didn’t have ties either, so I hand sewed little ties onto the corners of my duvet using something called quilting bias tape. It’s basically like a thick piece of fabric folded together and makes an excellent tie. I’m not a sewer at all, but was able to at least attach these and they’ve held up great!

If you don't mind me asking, something I've noticed looking between your living room and mine, where do you keep all of your stuff? All of your dvds and blurays, your videogames, your remotes, your books? I love the way your living room looks, it's so peaceful and soothing, but I have no idea where I would put all this stuff (stuff that we do use very regularly, I get rid of anything we don't use regularly).

    (1) Don’t worry about your “accent.” It’s actually barely noticeable. My husband was also a midwesterner and like him, your “aw” sounds (e.g. cost, lost, far, etc) come out a bit like “aah” (e.g. fast, last, brass, etc.). But, again, it’s VERY subtle. Even if it weren’t, don’t worry about it. The way you say anything is THEIR problem, not yours. Their opinion of you is irrelevant. And the person who said your accent is “weird” must be a very unhappy person to make a negative comment about something no one else would think about.
    (2) Your videos are so satisfying! Your home is beautiful and you show us how to showcase it without selling an expensive and/or unattainable fantasy. Plus, you seem genuine and authentic which is AMAZING.❤🥰🤩

Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I really appreciate you doing a cleaning on your vacuum and taking it apart. I have the same brand but I think I have a different model than you and I’ve noticed sometimes it is it can have an odor in so I clean it faithfully every time I use it, but what I’ve noticed is I have to take everything off and let it dry before I put it back together after the cleaning so that each individual part can dry anyways, I also have a question what was the app that you used when you’re making your to do list. I really like your videos. You’re so practical and your suggestions all make sense. I clean my vacuum in my sink too, so no judgment here. Thank you for all you do!

Hey girl, you have to use the sink to clean that stuff. The only thing I see as a problem is the hair and gunk going into the garbage disposal. Thet might mess it up down the road so I would put a sink strainer in it when you clean that kind of stuff.

I have a 6.5 yo boy and what helped the most with the bathroom was making him clean it. Everyday I try to wipe the toilet and sink, but I do skip it occasionally. Anyway I brought him in with me and just very casually told him what to do. I have him clean a bathroom once a week now. He is so, so much more tidy- lifts the seat to pee, rinses toothpaste out of the sink. Because he realizes how hard it is to clean up later.

I got one of those tiktok rotating brushes, maybe its just the one I got but it was horrible. Bulky and heavy and didnt clean well, I felt like I needed to use the same amount of elbow grease which then just stopped it rotating. Just stick with the clorox wand
