For me, what shocked me the most was knowing people’s real height. After so many hours of staring at each other’s faces, you start to think they’re around the same height as you, only realise that they’re actually way shorter/taller than what you thought
I had a uni class on zoom where I went in, waited ten minutes, class still hadn't started, so I asked my friend and he said that the professor emailed us to tell us that the class would be happening two hours earlier. oh mann! I'm forever grateful for the algorithm that brought me to this, My first Foil Arms and Hog video. A month later and having watched all the videos on your channel I'm still re-watching all my favourite ones every day
🤣🤣🤣
Foil Arms and Hog - Awards you for waking up on Thursday mornings! 🥰
Gibberish from another company in the building... hope they don't see it actually
I can't wait to just stand up and walk around making vivid facial expressions and looking out the window. I'd probably get promoted for being a visionary
It would be funny if the guy in a suit stands up and it's revealed he's not wearing pants
I love Kevin leaning forward as he replies 😄 fab sketch
Ah yes!! I was meaning to bring that up! I'm glad you did! Nice touch lads 👌😂
Right into his face
That "we're stuck here till 5" just hit different
The little "nooo" from Hog was quite sweet in a sad way 😂
Loved it! 😅 Loved Foil's reactions and shouting into the mic that wasn't there, and the realisation they couldn't goof off anymore. This was so much fun to watch, looked like you had a good time shooting it 👏👏👏
More outtakes please lads! I know you got some from this!!! 😂
managers love their meetings. They are not productive for anyone, but gives managers a sense they're actually doing something. And that feeling of wanting to take the rest of the day off after the meeting is too real :(
Thanks
Thank you so much!
I love working from home - particularly loved hearing from my boss’s children about their day at school!!!
Ah that''s sweet
@@foilarmsandhog well I was being sarcastic and now I feel horrible
@@abbypage1 Haha! I'll be honest, I scrolled past your comment and wanted to say something nice. Then I read it again and thought "oh wait... That sounds like sarcasm..." So I kept going because I wasn't sure.
I'm sorry I wasn't a brave Sam.
Day at school is one thing. The little one of my manager has Dinosaur PJ's and knows all their names. And he was so happy that I also knew some of them 😂😂😂 And I know all family pictures of his grandparents now and the picture he painted for his mom....and I know how his Covid test went... including all details when he got sick because the stick in his nose and they had to start over with the test.... 🤢 I will truly miss those parts of virtual meetings. Never thought I would say it, but I look forward going back to the office 🤣🤣
@@abbypage1 I like your sarcastic comment.
"what a load of shite" I felt that on a spiritual level
Exactly.
Yeah back in face to face meetings where we have to pretend that everything a manager says is actually important...
I missed:
- Can you see my screen?
- Pets
- Kids barging in
- Talking when muted
As usual there is a disagreement as to what the characters’ names are. Kevin is both Kevin and Barry. I ❤️ how Emma’s character bent down to look into the very absent webcam. A good laugh as I sit in the office!
You're right! Has this happened before?
@@gabrielaluznunez2498 yes. The McCormack family has a bunch of names for the older son… he has been called Thomas, Derek, Ben,Jason and then not named.
Maybe he had been using a fake name at work, for some nefarious reason...? 🤔
@@anonymous_selkie 🤔 interesting suggestion!
Jan D I 💛 that you were in the actual office as you watched that 🤣
As a chairman of a board and having been doing web meetings since covid began, this made me roar with laughter. Keep up the good work. From an Irishman living in the USA 😎
I love this so much! I actually continued going to work during covid so thankfully this hasn't happened with my work colleagues! Although I've had to get used to actually being able to see and hug my friends in the last few months! But that's not something I'm complaining about!
I love Emma! She seems really funny. I'm looking forward to watching more of her content!
Thanks as always!
Thanks Jenny, hugging people is still at the 'stand-off' stage of a western
This sketch had me in stitches! Those eyerolls! 🤣 Saw that so many times when working from home with my father sitting at the other end of the table from me 😂
That sounds like a wonderful time.....heh heh
When the dog started barking you’ve got me good. Usually I am the one apologizing for my doggie being noisy.
The dog barking is so accurate. Jumping up on one of your laps would be accurate also.
‘ We’re stuck here till 5🙄’
🤣🤣🤣
OMG, the "Byeeee!" just killed me. 🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼
I love it when Arms gets all confused and he realises no one is listening to him 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Well done Emma 👍🥰
*Emmas (there's two there, I'm not sure who "Arms" is 😜)
Same, he looks so desperate and that's so funny 😂
@@SamFAHntha I meant both 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and someone has attacked Arms he had a scratch on his cheekbone that Foil can be vicious sometimes 🤩🤣🤣🤣🤣
This should be a PSA !
my smile muscles hurt again !!!
Thanks so much from Vancouver, Canada. Love the show.
Finally!! you guys provide my weekly dose of laughter!!! This one is amazing!! Loved it!!
I live in fear of this very thing happening to me. Eyerolls and comments; yelling, literally yelling at the computer "SHUT UP!!!"🤣🤣🤣
Not entirely convinced this is a sketch, as opposed to you guys just leaving the cameras running
#basedonreallifeevents
(Not that any of you would be that rude!)
Hmm you could be right there.... They were just a little *too* good at these roles...
😂😂😂
I suspect that’s actually the case for a lot of these tbh!
My brother told us last week that he does other work stuff on the side during online meetings. He has no idea how he's supposed to do all of his work once meetings will be held in person again.
I found this channel a week ago, and this video is what made me subscribe. It's so correct!
A bit off topic but when I was teaching online during the pandemic, my wife went into my office, stuck her face into the screen and said 'oh, she looks nice '.
I stared at my wife with a 'what is wrong with you' look until she realised my student could see her as well. She was so embarassed til the end of the day.
Emma is always shining, isn't she? Loved that video so much ❤
She's super
Would love to see more of Emma, love an Irish woman.. does anyone have a link to her material
@@AllenSmith81 She has a RUclips channel called Emma Doran Comedian.
the way he says "byeeee" at the end killed me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that is dead on, every virtual class I've ever given
Lol! Same. It feels weird just to quietly click Leave Meeting.
You guys, this is my legit nightmare acted out🤣
It does have a nightmarish quality alright
I love how your Thursday videos reset everything for me and clear my head for a happy, happy week ahead 😌
Thursday is my new Sunday.
That's such a lovely comment and sooo true! ❤️
That's a great way of putting it ❤️
So brilliant! 😂🤣🤣 “You’ve got to let him into the meeting.”
These guys have nailed it. Gonna take the rest of the day off.😆
That was a lovely scetch. Felt the same way while going back to school in person.
Just so awkward isn't it
Definitly.
Sharing laughs with friends is the best way to start my day, and at last on holiday this week! Thank you so much, it was so well done and hilarious! Good to see your guest Emma Doran again 😁
She's great! She's gained a new fan in me for sure 😂
The fact that he brought his wife and dogs to the physical meeting 🤣
Or they just followed him…. 🤣
@@anonymous_selkie Even funnier!
I was waiting for a cat to walk pass the table.
I lost it when Emma came in like "HIII!!!" 🤣🤣🤣
So funny! I think that was my favourite bit!
The way Arms says "Guyss" at the end always makes me laugh
Arms's character is everything I fear will become my reality in a few weeks when I go from briefing people remotely to having to stand in front of a room full of them.
Thanks for another hilarious sketch! 😂
All I know is, do NOT picture them all naked. It does NOT help.
Let me know if you want anymore tips!
Best of luck!!
@@foilarmsandhog Thank you! 😊
Update: Did a brief today and everyone was appropriately dressed, no one clipped their toenails in the briefing room, and no one pulled faces thinking their camera was off. Result! 🤠
@@CSews Wahey!
"Work" is giving me the time to work through Foil Arms and Hog's back catalogue. Never been so productive.
"one more, just one more" - is usually said at least 5 times haha
@@SamFAHnthaFor me, it is like I will just watch for 5 or 10 minutes and then I realized that it is midnight and haven't taken my shower yet...
@@kieranquebec9466 So many dinners have become breakfast for me. It's ridiculous 😂
At some point, someone will make a mashup of all these types of clips and make us nostalgic for that time
Are you sure those were cornflakes and not a bowl of toe nail clippings? After all he was using what looked like kitchen scissors to prune his hooves. :-)
Oh this is spot on lads! Just what I had in mind going back to the office now 😅
Well done 👏
Best of luck Linnea
@@foilarmsandhog Thank you Arms! 😊
It would be more precise of the first guy stood up wearing boxers LOL
So how many takes did saying "this is a place of work a certain amount of professionalism" without cracking up take..
How did you know... literally that's where all the messing was
@@foilarmsandhog A) It was a line about professionalism. B) it was a cue for someone to come in (yes, I've noticed a trend in your outtakes) and C) Arms said it
Bahahaha, you go guuurl 😂
@@caitrionaobrien4707 Poor Arms :c
And this attitude of my co-workers took care that I cannot work from home even when it's technically possible in our company. Thank you guys! You owe me two hours of my life for every working day!
