People need to start looking at the Bears’ offensive situation as unique. You’re going to miss out if you look at historical data and make it a 1+1=2 situation. Never had a rookie with this level of support paired with a “generational” pedigree. Let the past temper your expectations but I think it’s safe to say that expecting Caleb to perform on the above average side of rookie QBs is a lock.
i definitely agree, im not just focusing on one factor when setting expectations. Historical data is just 1 piece of a very large puzzle BUT it is still a part of that puzzle.
5:00 you say puka took a step down in second half of the season but tbh he only did in the middle of the season. He clearly came back to form late in the regular season and playoff. Two of his top 3 games came with cooper at full health

Question - do you all have/plan on making a video for starter dynasty draft strategy? First year playing in one and most content out there is around rookie drafts, but curious how you all would try to find balance between just trying to win year 1 vs have sustained success from the starter draft.

Agree wholeheartedly. It’s a prove it year for Chase.. came out firing as a rookie and finished outside top 10 two straight years. Give me the guy who is insanely consistent and is healthy along with his qb in Goff. If Puka put up the two seasons Chase has following breaking the rookie record he would drop in rankings but somehow Chase is bulletproof

Chase was a higher draft pick, is tied to a better QB, and arguably more talented. But if Burrow keeps getting hurt then yeah Amon Ra is much better in dynasty
@@aab5425tt draft cap doesn’t matter once they are paid / proven, best ability is availability so i trust Goff behind a top o line versus injury prone Burrow behind an awful line. For PPR Amon ra dominates in the slot and gets peppered along with his ability to stay on the field. Amon ra also has produced the better seasons for two straight years.. gimme amon ra ALL DAY
@@lincolnchiller1274 also Tyler Boyd is gone and Tee Higgins may be gone too, so Chase has a lot less competition going forward than Amon Ra does. I don’t think Burrow is injury prone, but a bad luck stretch. This year will be very definitive in that though.

I also think if odunze was the first WR taken off the board at 9 it would change a lot of conversations you guys are having about him
16 team 1qb rookie draft. I got Ladd at 1.09, BTJ at 1.10, Roman Wilson at 2.02, and Polk at 2.03…. Looking to get Maye/McCarthy at 2.07. I’m so pumped about my draft class

I have Amon ra, puka, g Wilson, nabers , dell, Franklin, Corley, m Wilson, cooks, m Williams. 10 team 1qb league. Pleased with this group.
Been offered a 2025 and 2026 2nd for Franklin. Thoughts
Stroud and tank dell is more of a comp for caleb and odunze. Texans had nico as “#1”, bears have Dj.

How was Pickens better per target when ayiuk had the same amount of targets but ayiuk had 200 more yard and more receptions and touchdowns
1st question we need to ask is: what are the quality of those targets?
Starting QB Pass Grades:
Purdy - 81.5
Pickett - 68.8
Starting QB ADJ COMP %:
Purdy - 76.6%
Pickett - 71.8%
Catchable Target Rate:
Aiyuk - 78.7%
Pickens - 72.4%
2nd question we need to ask is: what did the defense need to focus on for each player on each play?

- CMC, Deebo, Kittle
PIT:
Diontae, maybe a RB?
3rd question we need to ask is: which player had more opportunities to score TDs?
Team PPG:
SF - 28.6 (2nd)
PIT - 17.8 (28th)
I think when you consider the entire context, both had incredible seasons but Pickens imo overcame much more to produce.

His best year is better than Chase’s best year. There’s no reason to view AmonRa as less than these other guys in any meaningful way

Chase has finished outside top 10 2 years in a row (versus amon ra inside top 10 past 2 years). Combine that with the fact his qb is made of glass behind a crappy o line and I think it’s only fair Amon ra is in tier 1.

Love both of them as prospects, both have great DC, both have had a high target share in their 1st 2 years BUT London has a QB that can produce top level fantasy assets 🙏🏼

Will be 32 in season, all analytics and fantasy finishes have decreased in each of the last 3 years.
The only teams who should want Adam’s are win now teams. HOF player but not someone you’re going to be able to build around long term.
