What I love the most about this is the fact that while you got it for PR, you do a great job at adding the pricing/value commentary relevant to the viewers. I've gotten so tired of PR influencers just talking about the scents with no reflections on the performance, the blending or the value. Hell, some can't even be bothered to read the damn label on the box for the name. Much love, Josephine.
Edit: I haven't smelled this 1 yet. I've smelled the new Initio, and new Goldfield so far in 2024. But I did just get samples for the new Micallefs, Eight & Bobs and Clive Christian.

Big fan of Amouage but not this one.
Just smelled this today at Neiman Marcus. amazing piece of art, blended so beautifully. Your description is on point. But dang, I refuse to spend that much… but I might change my mind later, it’s so soft and heavenly
I haven’t smelt this perfume, but based on your description, I wouldn’t buy it 😅 I’m not a fan of sweet gourmand perfumes any way

Thank you as ever for an honest one. I am a big Amouage lover but some of the more recent ones... Well they ain't been what we expect from Amouage. It's good for them to have a nice Gourmand or two. But Lilac Love and the stunning Tuberose Love yessss. Another? They shouldn't follow trends they should set them.

Agree with you 💯 I think the brand will recruit a new type of audience with this launch which is good for them but rather different from their usual DNA. I find it hard to justify paying that price with this one…

Great review! As an Amouage fan, I appreciate your honest assessment, so I won’t waste my $ just to add it to my Amouage collection. Love my Lilac Love, but the other garden scents are just not worth the $.
After sampling, I bought a nice big decant. I plan to use it in the dead of winter when a cuddly cacao-vanille is heavenly for both day and night. But now, in the very hint of Autumn to come, I am wearing Guidance 46 -- which has become my signature scent.
Could not agree more!!!!!!!! I blind bought it because Demi loved it and said so much about it ... but soooo not worth the price ! Upsetting

I love it! It is great for cozy sweater vibe in canada. i dont like any other amouage. Gourmand and not too much, sweet and not too sweet. This is my second niche perfume after Dama Bianca. ❤❤❤

I received the sample today and to me smells like mandarin and ginger -which remain like 30 min- and then I coincide with you, and almondy powdery vanilla (I guess for the heliotrope). It is nice but as you mentioned, not USD 300+. A bit disappointed to be honest

Hi Josephine ❤ For me opening is nothing special and probably mid too, but dry down is amazing. It’s just overpriced for what it is and it reminds me of a merchant of Venice perfume (La fenice) and in the opening and mid other niche perfumes with much lower price point ❤

I have not smelled it yet, but the way you describe it makes me think of my latest addiction, Elixir 11 by Kayali !!! It smells like rose and orange blossom Lokoum (turkish delight) right of the bat, and as it dries down it gets more floral, and ends with wood and vanilla! Much more affordable, and it is long lasting as well :)

Not at all. Psychedelic love is denser, stickier whilst love delight pulls more floral and fresh

I have this in my collection and i absolutely don't get a gourmand note. It's more a fruity, fresh sparkling note. With some flowers and a bit of sweetness. Like champagne with tangerine, raspberrys and other fruits. Love it 😍
