  • Preparation
    1. Disconnect Power and Pressure:
o Ensure the EBS 100 is disconnected from any power source by pulling the cable.
o Make sure the hose is connected to the collection tank.
o Check the gauges for zero pressure.
o Move lever A to position A2, and B to B3. Then move lever A to A1, and B to B2. Finally, return both levers to position 1.
o Vent the system by pressing the valve to make it pressureless.
    Tools and Materials Required:
    • Paper and pen (to take notes)
    • Metric size 2 Allen key
    • Metric size 3 Allen key
Step-by-Step Instructions for Replacing Electric Components:
    1. Prepare the Control Unit:
o Place the already disassembled control unit upside down on a stable surface.
    2. Remove the Power Switch:
o Take note of the position of each cable using your pen and paper. Each connected cable is numbered, so it's important to note which cable goes where.
o Disconnect the cables from the power switch.
o Clip out the power switch from the control unit.
    3. Reinstall the Power Switch:
o Attach each cable to the correct position based on the notes you took.
    4. Remove the Fuse Holder:
o Unlike the power switch, the exact position of these cables is not important, so you can simply disconnect them.
o Use the metric size 3 Allen key to loosen the screws.
o Once loosened, pull out the fuse holder.
    5. Remove the Power Receptacles:
o On the other side of the control unit, locate the three power receptacles.
o Take note of the grounding cable’s position, as this is crucial for proper installation. The position of the other cables is not critical.
o Use the metric size 2 Allen key to unscrew the screws and pull out the power receptacle.
o For receptacles without screws, simply remove the cables and clip out the component.
    6. Reassembly:
o Ensure all components are reinstalled correctly, paying attention to the position of the grounding cable.
Your electric components of the control unit on the EBS 100 have now been successfully serviced.
