Ord Mantell is my most favorite starter planet. I'm not sure why, but all the beaches, volcanic islands, and rocky coastline seem pretty fascinating.
Ord Mantell is definitely one of my favorite planets in SWTOR, it's awesome to be able to play as a trooper or smuggler (haven't played that class, yet) and to just be able to explore and do missions and the story with this music in the background, I can't wait until I go back there, again, either as my current character, a trooper again, or a smuggler!!!
That opening is great, you can feel the urgency of a desperate battle to keep the Republic together, brilliant

Yes, I listen through the SWTOR soundtrack pretty regularly
I used to only play trooper, so I know this music really well, even though I stopped being able to play SWTOR like a year ago. it's taking over half an hour to open the game

This music gives me heavy flashbacks to a great time... Played almost nothing else in 2011/2012. Ord Mantell is just amazing.

The beggining of this fantastic piece of music actually reminds me of a HP score. Look up for: "Saving Buckbeak" from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, by John Williams. They both have similar introductions
Ah yes, back when I was mulling over the decision of going Vanguard or Commando at level 10. Good times. I miss being able to play the base classes at level 1 over what we get now where advanced classes are chosen at character creation.
Patch 5.0, the most recent patch. Advanced classes also lost some melee and ranged abilities. Sorcerers lose Thrash and Gunslingers lose Dirty Kick for example.
Yes, they added a little something. And for some even lore connexions. I mean the guy you used to visit as the Imperial Agent was Elara Dorne's father.

@Demonstomper but so good we only have to wait roughly 2 weeks and we can play as much as we want man this is the longest game ive waited for and its gonna be good when i can finally play it, in the meantime, we get 1 new swtor tune to listen to each day to keep us going until release

I remember playing smuggler/trooper, walking sideways using q and e buttons and firing at the separatists from a long distance

I have been Beta Testing and sad that the betas are over. At least after my first session I got the preorder and can't wait for the five day early release. (Color me happy). For me I like the Trooper, Jedi Consular, Sith Warrior and Smuggler classes.

I got to try it the last 2 weekends. Playing a bountyhunter to level 22 and a sith warrior to 14 didn't help me at all when it comes to choosing a class at the release :-).
@troopersarsan A tip to you, when you put a preposition infront of a word that starts with a vowel, you put "an" infront. Just sayin'.

what class are you guys gonna play first!? for me its either bounty hunter or smuggler first, i tried both and i liked both a lot, i like it that you can be a bounty hunter, but you dont have to care about the empire much at all, and i like the smuggler because you dont have to care so much about the republic, i like the freedom and its just too much fun being a bad guy, would be interesting to see a good bounty hunter though, instead of them all just killing everything in sight

Series is like the holy grail for STAR WARS fans like me. Though I would like all of the movies on blu-ray signed by GEORGE LUCAS!!!

So this is the only ord mantell track I can find.. but I know it isn't the only piece of music that plays there. Is there another name for the other music that plays there?

@DeRealUno except that, you know, it shows how dedicated they are to making sure their game is polished. oh and that it hasn't even been released yet and it's won over 100 awards. oh and that it's had the highest pre-orders of any game in history. it's already set records, and it will continue to do so. so go hate in your little corner while sw:tor shines

Alderaan still have the best music theme in the game IMO. Followed closely by Balmorra.

The game does look really good I for one can not wait to play it my self but how ever i'm not going to be obsessive over it. don't get me wrong its looks a fantastic game and the graphics and game play is just beautiful

+miguelanalises1 ... Uhm, you do realize that story-mode content is incredibly easy, right? Like, there's no reason to wish you were overlevelled when going back to old planets.. and the point is now you can do heroics at all levels on all planets...
Oh, and now enemies are linked in difficulty to their actual power. Stupid animals are easier to kill than soldiers and world bosses can't be solo'd. This is a good change.

Level cap doesn't affect gear though... it literally just makes the game a little more competitive. Seems like a waste to throw away hours of gameplay over a temper tantrum.
It doesn't affect your gear and it let's you actually get xp and money for doing missions on low level planets
