    Lods sa 10kva na transformer 220v/380v ilan ang capacity of load na pwede iconnect?Salamat lods.

      Di naten kinakargahan ng full load ang transformer. Good practice is 80% lang ng capacity so mga 8kVA is safe.

      @@abetskietv Yung loads in terms of watts ay naka depende sa power factor ng loads. Mas madali kung current ang basehan naten. Kung i-calculate naten ang full-load secondary current ng 10kva 380/220V 3-phase this is equal to around 26A. so 80% ng 26A is around 21A sa secondary per phase. safe k

    Pano po macalculate yung conductor and ocpd sa wye-wye connection of transformer tas wye-delta connection of transformer?

      sir yung procedure ng calculation ng size ng conductor at rating ng OCPD ay pareho pa din regardless of connection. Kailangan mo lang malaman yung FLC ng transformer mula sa nameplate or by calculation tehn apply yung mga percentage na nabanggit sa PEC.

    Sir sa Example ng Primary and Sceondary protection, yung size ng primary OCPD ay downgraded from 300AT to 175AT dahil sa ampacity ng feeder cable, paano sir i-consider yung transformer in-rush current?

      Kung mappansin mo sir sa table ng maximum OCPD ng transformers sa PEC, ang maximum percentage for currents more than 9A ay 250% lang. Ang inrush current ng transformer ay pwedeng umabot nang hanggang 10x the rated current pero for a very short period of time, mga milliseconds lang. Kahit isagad natin sa 250% ang rating ng OCPD, di pa din ma sapat yun to accommodate inrush current. For small transformers, ang pwedeng solution jan ay wag gumamit ng instantaenous-trip circuit breakers para di agad mag trip ang CB during starting. Kung Inverse-time CB ang gamit na OCPD, kailangan ng prolonged overload bago mag trip ang CB, pero dahil milliseconds lang tumatagal ang inrush current, bale wala na yun. Pag dating naman sa malalaking transformers yung pang substation, pwedeng ma control ang amount ng inrush current kung ang transformer switching ay itatapat kung saan ang voltage signal ay nasa maximum value, sa 90 degrees ng wave form. Sa point na yun minimum ang value ng inrush current. Magagawa natin yung switching na yun pag gumamit tayo ng Point-on-Wave (PoW) circuit breaker. Sana nasagot o yung tanong mo sir.       Technically pwede bro kasi yung 125% x FLA sa conductor size sa PEC is minimum naman yun pwedeng mas malaki para tumugma sa OCPD mo

      @@RandyAmorchannel kaya ko naitanung dahil nging karanasan ko po na 125% ang ginagamit ko sa ocpd ko di cia tumatagal ok nman ang kanyang load normal nman pero madaling masira ang breaker branded pa nman , kaya ginagawa ko 250% ang ginagamit kung multiplier pero minamach ko ung wire sa breaker. Mas magastos nga lang d po ba kaya ako lumalabag sa pec?

      @@ronaldoromero7182 hindi violation sa PEC yun sir kasi sabi naman sa PEC ay not less than 125% of FLA ang conductor ampacity so technically complaint sa PEC yung ginawa mo mas magastos nga lang. Pero sa breaker naman na madaling nasira yung 125% na ginamit mong OCPD, baka manufacturing defect lang yun nagkataon lang kasi di ka naman overloaded. Minsan talaga may mga factory defects pero very rare lang mangyari natapat lang sau siguro.
