Thanks Imtiyaz, the rod that I was using is a Blue Marlin Fire series 12ft 1-2oz. Very nice rod, light in weight, super sensitive tip with a lot of backbone. I would just change the guides as they are very small. Reel is a Diawa Certate 5000 Braid is Silkocean PE1.2 from a company called OceanDevil.
