hi, i just bought a civic si 2015 and already have skunk2 alpha series header, catback and sri k&N, i did not see any calibrations for these mods.. sorry for my grammar, english is not my native language
Hey there, yea not many maps out for the newer civics. I offer eTuning services and can set up a map for your car for a small price. Email me at wcp375@gmail.com and we can get started
So I got this flashpro with my car when I bought it, the only mods on the car are an intake manifold spacer and an injen cai. My question is can I just upload the basic injen cai tune without making adjustments? According to the prior owner the car has the base tune on it now.
Dakoda D yea, you sure can but there will most certainly be room for improvement. I consider all of the provided Hondata maps to be basemaps only. Also, make sure to look over a datalog if you do upload one of the maps you can choose from in order to make sure the air fuels are where they should be at while WOT and the knock counts are little to none at best.
@@SpecTuning75 Alright, awesome. Thanks for your advice and quick reply! I'll definitely do a couple pulls with it plugged in and check it out first before I set it and forget it haha
Help to choose calibration. I have a hondata flashpro, PRL short ram intake and invidia N1 catback exhaust. The calibration that flash pro gives me is PRL alone or PRL Sri, cat delete, catback exhaust. The thing is that I don't have cat delete. Can I still choose that tune? Thanks for your help.
Gustavo Polanco yea you can run that calibration. I wouldn’t run it forever tho, the provided maps are just like basemaps and a correct tune should be planned in the near future.
Just bought a 2015 si with a skunk2 intake and invidia n1 exhaust. It also had a flashpro in the glovebox. Do all of the maps work universally for 8th - 9th gen?
SyncedCyberSoul, they do not! Be careful what you upload, and always record a datalog go make sure it runs correctly. The provided basemaps aren’t all that good, I’d get a real tune to get the best bang for you buck.
If you get a tune when you get the Flashpro you wont have anything to worry about. The issues come when the basemap is not the correct one for the mods and people put some hard miles on the car. As long as you know how to check certain things in the data logging you can see how well or safe the car is running.
hey I just got my flash pro I'm completely stock and there's a rrb2 completely stock tuned or race 2 tuned and it's map based stock tuned what would be better
Thanks man I was actually possibly getting a Rick Spec'd 3.5cai what would be the best base map to run just for the cai till I get my full race exhaust and header
I usually recommend a custom tune with a 3" intake or larger but any MAP based intake cal should work but it may run a little off, same when you install the header... the cals Hondata offers are just a starting place in my opinion. They have lots of room for improvement.
Just got my flash pro last week, and was wondering since I just have a Catback exhaust and will be installing my skunk2 header next week , if the rrb stock tune would work or the race base map stock tune work better? Sorry kinda new to this and been wondering
hey man I got flashpro yesterday and my car has a fujita sri and a greddy racing sport catback exhaust, which calibration would be good for my car since I have no headers? thanks
Hello, ive got a question. I have a 07 tsx 6 speed, i just got a weapon r header, dc sports cai, and skunk2 catback exhaust. Im no longer running a cat. Do i choose a basemap until i get enough funds to actually get a real tune?
Tankerdc A basemap may work okay and can used In the meantime as long as you have defouler installed but a real tune is needed for best safety, drivability and power. I never recommend running a basemap for more than a month or so. Also make sure to datalog the basemap and check on tge air fuel ratio making sure it's close to where it needs to be, along with no or very little knock counts.
Question Is hondata flashpro even worthit for an automatic 07 tsx with weapon r headers full skunk 2 exhaust and an injen cai? whats the difference in hp?
My question is can I use a base map with the same mods but I have different brands for example I have injen cai, ktuned header, full race exhaust so can I use the cai,skunk2header,catback map?
I have a 2012 si with only a short ram theres no base map for only a short ram any advice on which base map I should use? stock, maf tune, or reflash? I uploaded a reflash but theres not really a difference lol
Hey man I just got a flashpro and my car is running with aem cai and skunk2 cat exhaust but I see no cali rations without the headers I'm planning on getting the headers next month tho but what calibrations can I use right now to run with the car?
Wrong, all you need to do is connect your flashpro to obd port and the info is saved onto the flashpro, then you can disconnect from obd and connect to desktop
Hey man what calibration do I use I just got the flash pro my car is completely stock besides the muffler delete other than that nothing else I'm new to this could use some help
+Mikeron 1208 there should be a stock "tuned" calibration on the Flashpro manager you can upload, or send me an email and we can get started on a custom tune which would run much better.
Do you think it’s worth it for me to get hondata if I’m only planning on running an intake on a 2013 r18. I know I’m not going to get much power I’m just getting bored of my car and want to start playing around with things.
sweet man thanx for this video. I been watching ur videos and your si is clean along with the tongmans si. I just ordered this with vit modes :are sunk2 cai , berk hfc, tsudo exhaust my question is is it possible to reach 200whp e dyno?
Specter75 will it hurt my car? How long can I drive with that basemap? I'm getting a tune in a week because it's so backed up. I just wanna use my hondata lol
Wesley no, it shouldnt. I would record a datalog to make sure the air fuels are close to where they need to be and check for knock counts though, just to be safe.
Specter75 it said I was getting like 21 knock counts on cyl 2, so I put it on stock equivalent. can I get you to check my data logs? I'm kind of scared I fucked something up by using the k&n basemap
I bet you're alright, if you only ran the base-map for the datalog then no need to worry. 21 knocks over 5-10 minutes isn't the greatest though, I wouldn't run that map. Yea email the datalog to me, WCP375@gmail.com A custom tune is always going to give the best results and more importantly, in my opinion, safety.
Thanks for the video man, took me a while to find a useful one.. one question, can I change the settings back and forth easily or do I need the computer to change the tune everytime
From what I see you don't NEED a laptop to change tunes... Just download the new tune to Flashpro and plug to ECU. I personally find the best way is WITH the laptop in car to actually see the progress of the download and completion.
Great video man! Really good info. Quick question, If I'm doing I/h/e (hybrid cai,sk2 alpha header, and full race 3") is there a pre set tune through the program? Or do I need to get it e-tuned by someone? At the moment I'm completely stock, and will be installing the cai first.
what calibration off flashpro would I be able to use for just having skunk2 CAI. there are cali's for other intakes but which one would u recommend? or would it make any difference. btw, I have 8th gen civic si. thanks,
Hey bro just found this video. Would you be willing to look at a data log for my k20z3 and help me out with a tune?
Of course, send it in. My email is wcp375@gmail.com

Do I need a Cd on my laptop for Hondata Flashpro for a 2007 Acura TL Type S software bc I only have USB connects
David Seitz hondata dot com and down load the software

Specter75 how do I get a real tune? A shop?
I just want to also make sure if I do upload something and it’s the wrong tune, bricking the ECU is possible then right?
Been thinking about tuning my 07 AT TSX soon just need to get ahold of some good headers in Cali..
thanks for the vid, very informative and helpful
Hello, how many datalog files can a Flashpro device store, given you don't go over storage capacity of the device?
Heard running basemap is not safe , with PLp getting knocks. This is preventing me from getting the FP scared of blowing my motor
If you get a tune when you get the Flashpro you wont have anything to worry about. The issues come when the basemap is not the correct one for the mods and people put some hard miles on the car. run the RRB stock tuned cal

Specter75 okay yeah my plan was to get a custom tune I/H/E who do you recommend for custom tunes except vit
Tune with me of course, SpecTuning
Just got my flash pro last week, and was wondering since I just have a Catback exhaust and will be installing my skunk2 header next week , if the rrb stock tune would work or the race base map stock tune work better? Sorry kinda new to this and been wondering
I'd recommend a tune for safety and best power
Okay and for the meantime while I wait for my sri, which one of the two would work for now till I have all my bolt ons and get the proper tune?
+Zuniga848 I don't recommend either of those maps, put all the mods on at once WHILE starting a custom tune that way you don't risk hurting things.
dont get SRI. lose power with it. get CAI if you want power gain
Anyone else weirded out by the constant water noise in the background?
Adrian Rendon lol, my fish tanks
Flashpro has the options for a reflash for prl sri... if I have injen tuned sri will this tune work/be safe for my car?
It'll be close to a basemap yea, you'll be fine.
Is it possible to flash a stock car to just get rid of rev hang issue on 07 TSX? What map do I choose for that?
what kind of calibration would I go with an
j35
k-tuned race headers
k-tuned 3in exhaust
hybrid racing CAI
A custom one, shoot me an email (wcp375@gmail.com)
hey man I got flashpro yesterday and my car has a fujita sri and a greddy racing sport catback exhaust, which calibration would be good for my car since I have no headers? thanks

Specter75 thank you so much for the reply! Its just 700$ is alot for hondata and then another 300$ to tune you know lol..
Tankerdc ohyea I hear ya. I only charge 200$ for bolt-on tunes just as a heads up.
Specter75 where are you located at? Im in florida near the sanford area and no one really tunes over here which sucks pretty bad :/
Tankerdc I'm located in California, we can eTune it if you'd like? The results are quite comparable without the use of a dyno.
Does the race version affect the computer calibrating for emissions testing?
Question
Is hondata flashpro even worthit for an automatic 07 tsx with weapon r headers full skunk 2 exhaust and an injen cai?
whats the difference in hp?
+adam la flare Hey there, yea i'd say it will help those bolt-ons produce the power they should be producing. It's a great diagnostic tool as well.
What basemap should I use for my stock 8th gen si ?
The stock tuned map...
Would a flash just for a stock 08 TSX improve my gas mileage
My question is can I use a base map with the same mods but I have different brands for example I have injen cai, ktuned header, full race exhaust so can I use the cai,skunk2header,catback map?
Carlos Velasquez yup, although it will still just be a basemap.
I have a 2012 si with only a short ram theres no base map for only a short ram any advice on which base map I should use? stock, maf tune, or reflash? I uploaded a reflash but theres not really a difference lol
A custom tune would be the best way to go with the 9th gens. facebook.com/SpecTuning/
Hey man I just got a flashpro and my car is running with aem cai and skunk2 cat exhaust but I see no cali rations without the headers I'm planning on getting the headers next month tho but what calibrations can I use right now to run with the car?
Kevin Tu i'd just use a similar Intake cal until you're ready for a tune.
Wrong, all you need to do is connect your flashpro to obd port and the info is saved onto the flashpro, then you can disconnect from obd and connect to desktop

My bad for the late reply... but yea, shoot me an email WCP375@gmail.com and ill help you out if youre still wondering.

UrWrongBud no. Just buy an SI
Hey brotha. I've got a takeda Stage 2 intake. And a A&E throttle spacer. Which tune should I use?
very useful information video. It's even better than hondata's official video!!
sweet man thanx for this video. I been watching ur videos and your si is clean along with the tongmans si. I just ordered this with vit modes :are sunk2 cai , berk hfc, tsudo exhaust
my question is is it possible to reach 200whp e dyno?
+Raiders51fitty Yea i'd say that setup is capable of 200whp on a dynojet
+Specter75c hey thanx for the info/ reply
keep up with the videos and keep us updated on your beast ! hopefully u upload soon thanx again !
very smart knowledgeable dude. bless u man I wish I had a buddy like you lol
Much appretiated
hey man i have a 2007 si with a k&n sri and a yonaka catback, should i just use the K&N SRI basemap?
Wesley you can if you want, it's not going to be considered tuned though. Those maps are just base maps.
Specter75 will it hurt my car? How long can I drive with that basemap? I'm getting a tune in a week because it's so backed up. I just wanna use my hondata lol

There are pre-made maps available yea, but they are far from tuned.
what calibration off flashpro would I be able to use for just having skunk2 CAI. there are cali's for other intakes but which one would u recommend? or would it make any difference. btw, I have 8th gen civic si. thanks,
I'd just get a tune, those basemaps aren't very good. If you had to, run a cold air intake cal but it's not going to be correct.
Where can i bay this
Thanks bro.
