    I was beginning to think buying this was a mistake, as others gave way to much information all at once.

    Thank you, because of your video I was able to purchase the Q'nique 15 pro. I needed a new quilting machine and I have the Gracie queen size quilt frame. I thought I would need to purchase the entire set up. But your video showed the 15 pro on the Gracie frame (my same frame) using the automation. This let me know that I could use my current frame (which I love), just update my machine and later addd the QC5. So, thank you so much for sharing, you saved me a lot of time, frustration and money. My only regret is thinking that I should have gone up to the 19 Q'nique, but I did not know if it would fit on the frame. Please keep sharing. I think you are the only (you are unique) person I have seen that is using the Qracie (wooden) queen quilt frame (and I have searched for them endlessly) to quilt on. So, I am watching and learning. One last thing.., are you planning to set up your Amazon affiliate links so, that we, your adoring public can purchase much needed items, such as the tape measure you mentioned below. This will help you and us (searching Amazon is a pain). Thank you..., L. :)

      I know this was a year ago but same here. I bartered for the Gracie Queen last summer and have not been able to find a machine to work on it so just today I spring for the Qunique 21 elite because it comes with a new frame; man am I upset now. I love the wooden frame, I just couldn’t find anything about it. I’ve spent so much money and still won’t have automation which I really want. Bummer I didn’t see this and I’m always always looking. 😒

      I would love to make a video for you. But I will say that it will tell you that you are out of safe area and turn pink. It will work. Just nest and as usual, bring the machine down to the bottom of the quilt, and click on the diamond under the line.

    How did you know that to nest it was 1/4”? Where does the screen show that?

    • @sewsomethingsouthern
      @sewsomethingsouthern  Год назад +1

      The screen does not show you that. You will have to look at the blue squares in the background. They are 1 inch square. And use your best judgment. Just be constant through the whole quilt. I do now that from your needle to the outside of the hooping foot is 1/4 of an inch. Also I have quilted this pattern alot and take notes on each pattern.

    • @sewsomethingsouthern
      @sewsomethingsouthern  2 года назад

      Thank you! It usually take around 20 mins or so per row. But there are so many variables that can change that. Like spi and the speed that you have the machine set on. I have mine 10 spi and med speed. The total time for this quilt was 6 hours.

    • @sewsomethingsouthern
      @sewsomethingsouthern  Год назад

      With qct5 beginnings you don't have to figure the length. There is a button to click on if it is a piece of a row at the bottom. It will not change the look of the quilting to have a piece of a row. It will all look Continus if you nest your rows.
