In the game, I replicate the M27 IAR, a Marine Corps issued assault rifle, by using the HK-416 since it's similar. For optics, I equip the 8x Vcog scope since it's a standard issue for the Marine Corps, Peq-16, substituting the yellow laser for the built-in flashlight-laser combo I also add a suppressor, mirroring the Marine Corps issued one for the M27, and a vertical grip, similar to what Marines sometimes use. Also the color of the M27 is black.
I think the vhs-2 in insurgency sandstorm looks kinda like the Springfield hellion in real life. Maybe it’s the irl equivalent, they look really similar.

I would have loved to see the M1 Garand or Type 99 Arisaka added in the Colt Front update; it's pretty annoying that the Japan-American crossover update brought guns used in Vietnam (and the XM21 barely qualifies as a new gun, it's more or less just a cool reskin of the SCAR-SSR).

Something I would love to see added is the C96 pistol (Broomhandle) , and some of its historical variants. (variations in ammunition, firing mode and carbine) If the devs wanted they could add the DL44 as a mod variantion of it (Han Solo's blaster from the original trilogy)
I would love to see TAVOR 7 in battle rifles, then we have all IWI Tavors in game and lets be honest battle rifle category is pretty dry. I would also LOVE to see guns like HK53 and HK33, even as conversion.
for the VHS 2 i feel like you could've used the HK Export irons or whatever they're called (the g36c irons) if they're even available for the famas and could the NTW with 20x110 and hk sights also work for the PTRD, counting the fact both are anti tank rifles
instead of the m79 or a flintlock pistol, use the dt11 with remove stock, short/sawed off barrel and slugs (will **look** pretty similar to a flintlock but not will **work** like one)
Here's my reccomendation for the XM-177 The Beowulf ECR has the clamshell handguard and a sub 16" barrel, aswell as a carry handle. So use Carry Handle Sight Flash Hider(stock ECR has no muzzle) Default Collapsible or Retract Stock 5.56x45mm(you must commit this sin for the sake of weapon accuracy)

XM177E2/CAR-15 are basically the same as the MARS in practice. The 5.56x30mm MARS cartridge performs almost identically to 5.56x45mm NATO at close range.

Before the ft300 update, i had something pretty much the same as a musket, it was: - H&K sight - long barrel - wooden furniture - marksman kit - .22LR The marksman kit would cause you to take a ~4.5s reload between each shot.. of a single .22LR bullet

The Colt MARS is literally just a XM 117 that has been re-chambered into 5.56x30 MARS

I do this a lot with weapons lol and I like to remake weapon skins from other games
if the firerate is slower on the gun you are replicating you could change it to semi and use a macro set at a specific speed
personally i think the c8a2 works better for the xm177, faster firerate as well.
