Love Joe, great guy, did wonderful things for Ireland. Hope he is able to turn things around in Australia, big ask, but they have some seriously good players.
What he said was 'the sprinboks tend to get a bit of luck from that perspective...they don't need too much luck to fall their way though, they make a lot of their own luck with the quality of player and connectiveness...'
You missing the point. He using that in order for the officials to favour Australia. It's a strategic that all coaches use when they cannot beat the Boks and then in the match all calls go their way. I hope Rassie addresses this.
@@JohnMichaels-fs7biRassie is literally the king of putting pressure on the officials. Disgraced himself by making that video after losing the first lions test.
@@BlueeeyIf that is the case then Gatland disgraced himself first. Have you ever thought that if Rassie had a whole videos worth of evidence then he must make a great point?
@@JohnMichaels-fs7bihe’s using it to put pressure on the officials to make the right calls, at the weekend. Which they didn’t in that first test with Ireland. Boks would still have won, they were much better on the day, but officials made at least 1 big error. Rassie is king at doing the same thing, which is why they probably get that “luck” that Schmidt refers to.
Joe Schmidt is a great coach and the #Wallabies are very lucky to have him. I still think it was Joe's input when the All Blacks beat the #Springboks at Ellis Park before the World Cup. Cant wait for the Rugby Championship to start🏉🏉🏉🏉🇿🇦
Smack talk towards us have already started…. The minute the boks respond to this then it will be made out like it’s us that are doing the smack talk. Also noticed how the press was talking about the “bomb squad” being a negative but then proceeded about talking about their own “impact” players coming off the bench and praising it?? It’s the same thing!!!
No doubt the aussies are going to collapse all the scrums, enter the ruck from the side as they always do, and collapse the rolling mauls as they need to do to stay within touch. Clever of him to pressure the referee before the game as his team are 100% planning on playing outside the confines of the rules.
Joe gave Rassie his team talk. I suppose one should never pay too much attention to what is said in the media. Trust Rassie will be smart enough to prep the Boks considering our away history against the Wallabies. Maybe we just owe them one!!
Please!! Some of the journos will very soon be feeding us the same nonsense Matt Williams does and the woke approach will make its way into rugby. Not far off.
Was he coaching Ireland no wonder Ireland have not make it in rugby World Cup’ and his talking about South Africa being lucky to beat Australia bloody joke some people are so delusional to face the truth is another Noah lyles.😂😂😂
They only won in Australia 😂, "luck fall their way", coming from the side at ruck time, that why i dont watch the games of the Springboks played there, always too much dodgy calls frim the refs

Stop being so God damn precious.....
He is playing mind games with the ref.
tipical Ausie All black media thing... excuses ontop of excuses
He is playing the mind of the ref. With lucky calls going boks way. Smart..
Last time a coach use this mind games, the ref decision favour the team playing against the Boks irrespective if the call was correct.
@@JohnMichaels-fs7bi I think that is the point.
The Springboks don’t have a fatigue issue, that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

Exactly.
Last time Australia doctored the food of the Boks.
Matt Williams was responsible for that
Coming in from the side worked for mccaw
true that❤
A kiwi complaining about reffing. And the earth continues around the sun.
Shame... Springboks gonna kick major Wallabies butt... Bring It On 🏉
Go on joe, you do your thing with the aussies as you did with ireland.
Lucky calls? Lol they got all the calls at the 2011 world cup given a bat was the referee...
😂😂😂

Where's the Wallabies post match presser?
The Aussies sent us the wrong press conference and didn't answer mails on it, but sent it now, so it is being loaded as I type this
Against these guys???
This man has no finesse… or manners!
Misleading title Brenden. Expect better from you.
The first journalist speaks waaaay too quickly and slurs all his sentences lmao
We shall c.
Clickbait title. He has a lot of respect for the Boks.
Poor title for this interview
don't do the clickbait headlines -- you're a better journalist than that
Not far off

Who is he looking at.. or does he have trouble with eye to eye?
Misery…. Like EJ
