I have a V2, I was into the distorted sound of Jack White's Raconteurs, found out he was using this. I was lucky enough that I picked one up while they were still in production! Putting a Tone Bender-style fuzz in front of this gives you an amazing, amazing distorted sound. I can't beat it, which has me worried because it would be so hard to replace haha. Tonight I'm looking to see if anyone has built a schematic or cloned it in any way! Come up empty, but I'm sure once it pops up, your video will be a big help!

Would love to try one of these someday, the filter is super interesting. I got the MF Delay before they shot up in value and it rules!

I remember when these came out over ten years ago, wish I’d bought one now.. I always enjoy your videos and it would be great to see a teardown of the Earthquaker Devices White Light.

I FINALLY bought one of these. A good friend of mine has one and after playing with it, I was shocked this hasn't been cloned or had a schematic posted (saw one of your comments about that). This is such a great pedal and luckily I scored this same V1 for a decent price. I know there's no difference between the V1 and V2 other than cosmetics. Thanks for the video!

Love the MF Drive. Hope some time you can do one of the DSM Simplifier variants; OG, mkII, bass, DLX...

Do you always have a “Q” element to your sound then? I like this pedal but feel like it always has some kind of cocked wah feel to it , and it’s hard to find a “neutral” tone position.

I can’t believe that I’ve never heard about this pedal, even from Josh Scott. I bet one of the reasons you don’t have any DIY PCBs for this drive is because most DIY projects favor through-hole components, and this one is surface-mount, probably because of the sheer amount of components in the circuit. That sheer amount of components would scare away most people. If anyone should do a PCB, it should be Aion FX. Their designs and commitment to preserve history are unparalleled.

Just a side note: the attention to detail inside the enclosure with touches that provide solutions to things you probably didn’t consider problems is very impressive.

Would buy a PCB in a second

What is that tool which you used to gently pull the knobs off the potentiometers? Looks like a very handy tool to own!

That is a Pedro's tire lever, best bike tire levers IMO and work a treat removing press-on knobs too. pedros.com/products/tire-levers

Lani was kind enough to trace their unit at FSB (www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?t=31250) but the schematic has not been verified.
