I appreciate that you explain what and why you do your procedures rather than just blank air time squirting paint. I’ve seen an airbrush work so just watching one gets boring. I like all the tips and tricks and fill air time. Thx.
Another great video i love the colour shift paints and will play with them a little more now , you videos are quickly becoming some of my must see videos and i cant wait till you have anothe one out . Awesome work and look forward to your future videos
My go to paints these are just about great for anything I even paint with just these I used them on clear baits for that transparent look and yes love it on white
I'm going to be painting a dragon miniature with the color shifting paints, I wasn't able to find many decent videos for what I wanted to do, especially white dragons in that area of the hobby. Your video was really helpful.
Awesome! Glad I could help and that for sure is going to make some special minis. I watch a lot of mini painting vids too and haven't seen many colorshifts on white bases before in miniature painting.
Already got a few of those 😊👍 : ruclips.net/video/37BlWt0EQRo/видео.htmlsi=9Zfo6Sk_bbSUBpxc ruclips.net/video/YthbuW1kCIA/видео.htmlsi=ZAHMXVOYdVAi_h94 ruclips.net/video/cmRgGmR_pZg/видео.htmlsi=33aDMpqEBxewJPXQ Happy painting!
Very nice video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Just one question. Is it possible to mix shifters with white or black to lighten or darken them?
Good question, colorshifting pigments are very sensitive, I have experimented in several ways, trying to change the color of shifting pigment. But none of it works. If you mix in black or white, you will lose the shifting effect. Even with extremely transparent paints. Spraying another transparent color onto of a shifters does change the color, but it does not shift anymore. Mixing another pearl paint with a shifter or 2 shifters with each other makes the shifter change to one monotone color that doesn't really shift anymore. These were my side notes while experimenting with them 😁

@@lureblanks Really extensive and to the point analysis. Thanks a lot for your feedback.
@czappas you are welcome and glad you appreciate that!
What kind of lure eyes are those?
I used these glass eyes in the largest size 😊lureblanks.eu/parts-and-tools/eyes/
Great video and perfect timing! I just picked some up....Do you thin them or run them straight out of the bottle?
Thanks! The shifters I just shoot straight from the bottle, One of the easiest paints you can find 👌😊
Молодец 👍
Thanks!
Sånt skulle jag aldrig komma ihåg. 🥴
Tack vännen, Bra jag har gjort en video om det då! 😁Då vet du det nu 👊😊
Never thought I’d see the day where I’d be watching a lure video to paint mini soldiers…
Haha love your comment! Indeed Usually its the other way around 😁 but hey I'm honored a miniature painter saw my video and took the time to comment 😉😁
