      btw do you think that's a good thing or a bad thing during crashes? thanks for the review dude!

      @insanebmxthomas never good to land with the wheels turned thats how it broke on my first run since turning the servo voltage up its been keeping them straight so no problems. Thats why my cars that have stability control I turn it off on jumps because it turns the wheels thinking it can straighten the rc out. With the extended range of the Akerman system really gives more of a flat area to hit its not a bad system just dont have the wheels turned on landing lol. Yeah the servo at 6 volts couldn't keep the tires straight now its good

      @@L2theWcarscoffeelife ahh yeah i understand! I could see someone make a case for more range of movement = withstanding crashes better. But yeah landing with wheels turned is no gud. So that's even more points going towards getting the roller, arguably.
      Im new to rc but my current car keeps breaking and this seems like a really capable car. How do you feel about the alu chassis on this? I like plastic more personally, since all metal can do is bend.. But i'm just not really into traxxas (or their pricing) and arrma seems to have issues with their chassis being plastic, even with hingepin/chassis upgrades. So the corally is looking pretty good all things considered. Loved that flying video btw, would have enjoyed to see that last landing!

      @insanebmxthomas I dont have problems with either chasis. I have the 4s Kraton and I have not broken a chasis and I have not bent an aluminum chasis either. You will find most people bending these are pushing them past the design limits. If you're jumping so high the shocks cant absorb the impact and your slapping it into the ground then you have problems. Yeah they withstand it to a point but the extreme stuff does not appeal to me I like driving them and small jumps. Dont let extreme bashers ruin it for you unless thats your plan to do 20 or 30ft high jumps then you need upgrades. This is a really well made rc it is very powerful so either run 4s or do a roller and get it set up as you like its a handful as a rtr. Still an amazing rc they put their money where it counts making it very durable.

    Wow seems mush more controllable now that you turned down the punch level. Jumped the valley of death great. The slow mo forest shots were awesome. Over all a much more better outing for the Kagama.I might buy one after seeing the mods. Not sure is that wing can be modified to keep it on the RC. Enjoyed watching.

      Its definitely a different a little more controllable its still damn strong though. The wing was my fault I needed longer bolts and without the wheelie bar some washers on the screws should help. Get one its fun!

    Hey my friend. I discover why the car is so incontrollable. Is not the remote. It is the ESC. I am not sure if it is the way it is programed, but the power is not gradual. It just wake up suddenly with no time for us to react. I changed the receiver and still the same. Changed the motor and the same. Change the esc and wow. Problem solved. The car is a beast. Also the stock system is too small. Mine was cogging all the time and went to thermo few minutes of running.

    • @L2theWcarscoffeelife
      @L2theWcarscoffeelife  11 месяцев назад +1

      My rep at Corally said the timing is programmed to advance at a certain point mid way so your right its in the esc. Turning the punch down helps a little bit it seems. I am used to Arrma where punch is off the line this is mid way. What esc did you get? I was looking at a max 6 it seems like it might be too tight of a fit. So far no cogging or thermal issues I did wipe my battery out to 1 percent the default setting on the esc is too much I have to raise it. I will most likely swap it out too.

      Thank you very much for the great comment. This is such a strong rc it does well on 4s it definitely makes it easier to control the sudden power surge is not as strong so it doesn't try to wheelie at 40 mph lol. You can buy these as a roller and install any esc and program it to be a bit milder on 6s. Either way its a great rc its built well

      The bracket that slides in the bottom between the control arms had to be drilled and notched to allow the bottom skid plate to bolt back and the lower arms did not line up with the holes I took the easy route ran a self tapping screw in there I didn't want to take it apart again and tbe material is thick so it should hold other than that it fit fine

      @@L2theWcarscoffeelife that’s what I have spare but listening to you speak about how corally tuned the stock sc now I get it it comes on power when u need a flip/or trick possibly yet every1 is as you say used to the other big two brands
      The more one chooses to learn about the kagama the more it utter makes sense 🤩🧘🏿‍♂️

    • @L2theWcarscoffeelife
      @L2theWcarscoffeelife  11 месяцев назад +1

      @gonzodetroitify Corally has a long race history they tune the cars as such your on a straight away your trying to break ahead you turn it up. Basically any rc is drivers preference for how you want it to respond. For some the sudden burst is good you can program your own turbo timing into the max 6. For others its very fast. When I drive these cars for a video its my first experience I dont know what to expect I dont get one weeks before the release and have time to tweak the car or learn about it I give a real first drive impression. Its powerful I find it might be helpful to people looking to know this for some no problem for others its going to be difficult you can always turn it down with 4s its still crazy fast.and powerful just more manageable at least for me lol. I just present my observations let people decide if its what they want. I wouldn't let it stop you its a great car very strong. Run it on 4s for a while and get used to it before unleashing it.

  • @purewaterperfectcrap

    I haven't been able to make it through a whole pack without breaking something on mine. The power on 6s is really madness, my kraton 6s is much more manageable. It's something I've really never had to put thought into before this rc, but throttle control is very important on this beast or you will break parts. It's by far my most fun rc when it's running lol. And for those who say I can't drive I have raced RC's for over 3 decades and have several other 8s and 6s bashers.

    • @L2theWcarscoffeelife
      @L2theWcarscoffeelife  10 месяцев назад

      There is a definite learning curve with this one the power comes on so suddenly it does act very differently I agree. So far just a bad landing cost me a shock cap and bolt I haven't broken anything else. I turned the voltage up to the servo seems to steer a lot better now. It is a handful most powerful 6s I have ever run.

    • @L2theWcarscoffeelife
      @L2theWcarscoffeelife  10 месяцев назад +1

      it makes life easier but you can do it from the esc. I think it did a little bit talking to Team Corally they have it set to turn up the power midway so its not off the line like most are set up so it still goes beast mode on 6s even on level 1 lol. @@purewaterperfectcrap

      @@L2theWcarscoffeelife I think my biggest issue is wanting to backflip the dang thing off every jump. Dang thing just rotates so easy, hard to resist. Then you end up over with bad landings more often than other RC’s 😂

    • @L2theWcarscoffeelife
      @L2theWcarscoffeelife  10 месяцев назад

      there is a learning curve with it you kind of have to let off the throttle as you hit the ramp then try to correct if needed but very gently I am considering an esc swap I wish they didnt disable all the program functions of the esc then I could turn down the timing calm it down a bit
