That final action video of the finished, "Falls that Ben & DJ Built", is stunning. Being near the back fence, a great idea for the neighbors would be to place a seating feature of some sort just on the other side of that fence, then viola!, the sounds of an expensive water benefit, enjoyed for free.....

Thanks for all of the insight!! Been binging your videos amongst other pond builds and the information is all just 10/10. Building my 2nd pond in a couple weeks & I'm ready to do it right this time around. :P

RUclips algorithm stopped recommending you in my feed despite subscription… just cost me 3 hours of 2x view time to catch up. I live just north of Baltimore and have a small diy formal fish pond (6ft x 4ft x 5ft deep) off of our front porch… somehow someday I’m going to budget a big enough natural pond build in the backyard to convince you guys it’s worth the trip down here. Hands down your channel has made me feel like I’d have trouble trusting anyone else within 100 miles.

What type of boulders do you guys use there? Awesome rock with tons of character. Pond builders dream to work with I bet. 👍 great job fellas.
I agree with Ben. That backyard is gorgeous. Picture 📸 perfect for sure. 👍 👌

It's a weathered limestone boulder. And yes, they are fun to build with, lots of character.
