    I think most people go ahead and remove the crank before trying to remove that governor arm on the inside. The videos are great, keep up the good work.

    On some the governor shaft can be rotated 180 degrees and just pulled down and out of the hole. If it has a c clip it would have to be removed though

    Little late here but can anybody explain to me why not just disconnect the governor linkage from the carb? Just let it move around inside the crank case, but not affect the carb. Control the throttle directly from your gas pedal. ??

    What is the advantage of removing the oil sensor?

      Oil sensor is fine on a piece of lawn equipment - in a go kart situation, oil sloshing around during a race will make the oil float/sensor cut the ignition constantly... not conducive to racing :)

    Do you have to take the shroud and oil sensor off? Please respond

      No just cut the yellow wire on the outside of the case. No need to remove the low oil internals
