The Austrians, Germans, Swiss have learned to Farm on the Mountain Hillsides through a lot of creative ways to plant and grow Hay where most people would not attempt to do. They want to preserve their Family Farms and will go to any length to do so, it is their Heritage.
You are very fortunate people to live in such a beautiful & largely unspoilt place . Austria or Switzerland ? Thank you for respecting your hay & not smashing it all down into little bits of chaff , this loses it,s nutritional value , ( in england , too much speed on the haybob PTO shaft .) . Good hay is better than silage . My god , you,ve got some hills , we,d be face down on the ground screaming for someone to fetch a ladder !

тоже живу в уральских горах тоже приходится работать на крутых склонах но у вашей техники очень большие потери!мы сперва косим,на следуюший день просто поперечными граблями проходим они сгребают чисто и производительность хорошая,потом валки сгребаем в кучи или пресуем
при таких затратах литр молока будет стоит как крыло от самолета. При том, что речи об его экологичности я даже не веду, т.к. во первых дорога рядом, по которой проезжают автомомбили, во вторых обилие техники при обработке земли и заготовке кормов воздух тоже не озонируют. Абсолютный маркетинговый миф про экологичность Альп и продукции оттуда!
