- In this video we take a look at the Sub (PO 14) from Teenage Engineering.
The Sub is a monophonic bass synthesizer featuring 15 different synth bass sounds, a micro drum machine, a step sequencer, the ability to record bass sequences live, in-built effects, parameter locking and FX gestures.
We take a look over all these features in this video.
Best tutorials ever for pocket operators.
Thanks!
great tutorial/demo vid... done like a true pro
Still my favorite bass-synth. Connected to sync out with a TRS, adding a bassline is as easy as 1-2-3.
Thank you for the great tutorials for PO-14. (Your voice seems to sound a bit like Mr. Bernard Sumner's. ;))
Another great tutorial. Thank you!
This PO 12 is awesome , and I learned a new cool skill
Po 14*
cheers mate, great video!
Just got it, really enjoyed your tutorial, peace
+NK Home Grown Thanks! Happy music making!
this is criminally fun paired with my tr8
how do u sync together with tr 8 just bought 1 of the pocket engineering sub base and have asked the question how...
3:30 goes hard
This is way better than the Korg Volca Shits man!!
Really?
Do you need to connect it with something to play it
No, it’s got a built in speaker. You get better audio quality plugging it in but you can use it with no cables sitting on the toilet, I speak from experience.
Im new to all of this but it looks really cool and I want one really bad. So I can make my own music and shit with this and save stuff or not?
how do you change the volume
Hold down the bpm and press 1-16
Wyatt Kane thanks
Great demo, but, the sub is my least favourite of all the POs. The arcade, cheesy as it sounds, has that unique chord function. TE will undoubtedly come up with better.
Can I use this with mpc 500?
yes
Tu sì a me vita!
are those good for hip hop??
With a little cleverness. For funky timing on the PO-12 you can add a little swing and use the noise sound as a shaker for a lopsided upbeat. Also there's retriggering and repeat effects, and all the sounds are crunchy like an old sampler.
I sold mine, now I regret it.
I didn't like itfrom the reviews but bought it and it is my favorite now
This seems pretty useless yet a lot of fun
This video is about a bass synth not your mom
竖起大拇指因为
nobody has asked but how do u power it off
you don't :D it turns itself off after some period of not using it
flipping the battery
Someone tell me please why i need this?
Basari Studios TV so you be creative and ad your custom bass line in your set portably. More creative just pressing play.
You don’t need it, it’s more of a toy imo, but a really fun toy at that.
the first 5 min. are the same like on older po´s..
but then after about ten min. it is much better.
sorry, don´t want to offend.. i like what you do. but 3 or 4 min. out of 13 is not really "another great " tutorial, Best tutorials ever".. ...
Nevertheless, greetings from Frankfurt
