Great content as always. Would love to have heard the S2 with some gain on though. Look forward to future clips. Cheers

Thanks for demoing the complete 35th Anniversary Custom 24 range in the same video. I think this is the only video of this.I purchased an S2 version. The Core is stunning. I need a working guitar. Those beautiful Core versions are like taking a luxury SUV off road. It is capable but do you trust the risk 🤔

    Nice video!!!
    A question..
Between the core version and the S2 version which one do you prefer and why?
of course I always talk about the 35th anniversary edition.
    Thanks and congratulations again

Great changes! I've always preferred mini-toggles to push pulls (which I don't like at all) or auto-splitting via a 5-way (which is convenient, but limits the options available).

I prefer mini t’s to, push pull has always felt a bit clanky, for me anyway

Thanks. I think 35th anniversary use 85/15 s pickup instead of TCI? Can you confirm it? Thanks

I was under the impression that they were reverting to the five way set-up next year and that the 24/8 was just for this model year. I am wrong?

it seems these 35th anniversary guitars are in pretty short supply at the moment as no retailer has an S2 Custom 24 in MCarty burst which I am desperate to buy. Does anyone know when PRS are back up to full production and when we might see the guitars hit our shores?

I just got notified yesterday that my S2 35th McCarty I preordered a year ago just shipped out to me. So hopefully they are in stock now!

Insanely great sounding guitar. I wish they kept the control layout of the 24-08 where the 3-way blade and volume knob are the most accessible, since the mini-toggles & tones would be the ones I least need to access. I'm also like the standard logo on the headstock... Is the 24-08 still available?

Thats a shame that this version of the Custom 24 isn't your favourite.
It is great to see, in my opinion, that PRS are constantly updating and modifying their line up of guitars so their are variants such as the 24/08 that really speak to you.
You are in luck though we have a PRS Custom 24/08 Charcoal Cherry Burst in stock on our Peach Guitars website here: bit.ly/2VfdDzf
We do have a great selection of PRS guitars in stock at the moment too, so feel free to browse our current stock here: bit.ly/2VcWTZl
Thanks for watching! We have plenty more feature videos covering the PRS line up of guitars on our RUclips channel if you're interested to find out more too!

Good review, but even a Harmony Guitar will sound good on a Dr. Z 😳

I personally hate this guitar in Canada it cost me 1,573 dollars, thought I was going to get something fabulous as I have a lot of cheaper guitars and was told this company has some of the finest guitars .
Believe me for that much money you can do a LOT better than this ,looks great ,pick ups or pretty good but WILL NOT STAY IN TUNE SO PRETTY MUCH UNLESS ESPECIALLY IF YOU PLAY LIVE SAVE YOUR SELF THE EMBARRASSMENT.
I Like to call it my Frankenstein guitar because it is made of different chunks of wood .

On the plus side my become a collectors item but even that is unlikely, people get free guitars or money for positive reviews beware of the bull shit
