@@-Shelley- I don’t believe the step mom had anything to do with her murder. Everyone around them said she treated the child as her daughter and the daughter looked well cared for. I believe unfortunately the parents were in to drugs and that night had a party and when the step mom maybe passed out someone took Haleigh and most likely for bad intentions then got rid of her.
@@mariemartins8606 Her story made no sense and kept changing. She was sleeping in the bed with MC, then she was sleeping on the other mattress on the floor. She got up to use the restroom and the kitchen light was on. Then off. The back door was propped open with a cinder block yet there were piles of laundry in front of that door. The screen door attached made so much noise that it would have woken her up, yet it didn't. Her cousin and his friend coming over late and her eventually saying they took her after hearing them "hurting" her. Even went so far as to go on a little trip (from jail) to a nearby body of water leading LE out on a dock and pointing to where she was supposedly dumped.
These are a few things off the top of my head. IMO, at the very least, MC knows what happened.
I've also followed this from day one. He dad got out of prison, but broke parole and I think was sent back. Please

They found her and her boyfriend dead in a car several hours ago, in a parking lot! They've been in there for three days! They're not speculating whether it was a murder-suicide or just a murder!

Her brother was 15 when he was shot and killed. HER brother Ethan stole drugs from a 17-year-old and was set up through a female with social media messages that led him outside and shot in his driveway. They caught the 17 year old and the female who set up her brother through the deleted social media messages. Her boyfriend was also abusive and dealt with drugs. There are interviews with one of her neighbors saying they saw her bf beat her many times. One neighbor heard her yell, and then they both ran out the door like they were being forced. She probably had ptsd from losing her brother to drug related crime. He probably did something very similar, and it caught up with him. The police said they might have been dead in the car for 3 days or more. Also that they couldn't say she was pregnant officially until the medical examiner looked at her.
She was still grieving the loss of her brother, and having to deal with DV only made matters worse for her and the bad. This is tragic all around for everyone involved

Let me help: This is Texas. A lot of young men get involved with organized crime. It is almost unavoidable for some. It seems great and if they do what they are told it will stay great but if you make a mistake, people will come for them. If they have family or a wife/girlfriend they are close to, they will most likely take them out with him. Probably made him watch

Police did not give any info on the baby,but did say it was a very perplexing crime scene. When they left she didn't take her packed maternity bag or her purse,looks like they may have just ran from the apartment. Cops reckon they'd been deceased for three days at least. I went more than a week over my due date with my second baby. At the time I thought it was inhumane, but now that I know it's normal/standard practice.. I was almost 2 weeks over due, was due on 8/10 and didn't give birth until 8/20.
